• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Wired Communication

My 2014 RT doesn't have a drivers plug for wired audio. There is one for the passenger. Is this a feature or a defect?

    What's With the New Backrest?

Is there any adjustment on it at all? I'm only 5'8" and I'm practically sitting on the glove box. Has anyone gotten the BRP backrest to adjust?

    I Won Something!

Congratulations! You completed the Can-Am roadster clothing survey and won the $200 in BRP's Parts, Accessories or Clothing. Could you please let me know with which BRP dealership you would like me to make the arrangement. If you are not sure, I could recommend you the nearest one if you...

Turn Signal Switch 2010 vs 2011

Anyone who had a 2010 and bought a 2011, have they improved the "mushy" turn signal switch so that you can better feel the cancellation point? I often turn the other side on when trying to turn one side off.

    Corbin Seat Gas Door Issue

I just got my Corbin seat today, and so far it seems really comfortable. I got the Lamonster version, and it's definately a bit lower sitting. I have one question. The door covering the gas filler sits flush with the seat. How the heck can it be opened without breaking a nail (oh, no) or using...

Two Pounds of Pressure Less, and WOW

I've been running 20# in the fronts of my RT-S and noticed quite a bit of steering shaking at certain speeds. Today I lowered the pressure to 18#, and all shaking is gone. What a difference 10% less made. If you're having any steering shaking, try experimenting with the tire pressure, it...

    HEAT

Well, it's mid 80's in NC and I'm noticing the amazing amount of heat coming from the tuperware, right by my thighs and above the seat. It's just pouring out of there. I'm glad I don't want any more children. Is this other's experience as well?

    Another OEM Zumo 660 Question

    Zumo 660 Audio Question

With the BRP Zumo 660 installation, does the audio system play thru the Zumo and thus can be listened to via bluetooth, or does the Zumo play thru the audio system and thus you need a wired connection to listen to the Zumo and radio via a headset? Thanks.

    12 V Outlet

I asked my dealer to install a 12v outlet on the dash of my RT-S. They couldn't find an appropriate spot other than in the glove box. That won't work for me. Has anyone installed a 12v yet? If so, where on the dash did you mount it?

    Cup Holder

Boy, does the RT-S need a cup holder. Has anyone found one that fits, or is some nice sponsor going to come up with one? Puleeeze!

    "Do Not Ride" Recall

My 2008 semi-auto spyder went into the shop yesterday for its 6k service and steering recall. Got a call from them that they can't release my spyder until they get the part for a ground wire addition, meant to PREVENT FIRES! And, best thing yet, the part is on backorder until 08/13. So the...

    Credit Crunch Hits Home

I've been lurking here for two months while I wait for my Spyder. Anyway, it's now two weeks from delivery and I went to my dealer and applied for credit. I've got a FICO over 700, and BRP's credit rate came in at 15.9%! I just applied at BOA for the same loan amount, and was approved at 6.9%...
