• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone replaced the Purge (bleeder) valve on 2015+ RT?

Has anyone replaced the purge valve on a 2015+ RT? Svc manual just says to pull off hoses and replace. The valve and hose are held in place with a plastic retainer and push-pin. Did you replace the valve with plastic holder in place or did you remove the line from the plastic holder? I released...

    RT-622 Trailer Hub, Bearings, Races

I got a 2011 RT-622 from 2nd owner with supposedly low mileage and installed ground kit, new harness and PM on the wheels. I read just about every post on here (and all over youtube) about bearings and races. One side looks fine but the second side looks like some water got in and is at least...

    Elka shock install - verification...

Since there was not much info to be found on installing the Elka shocks, I just wanted to verify from those that have them that I put them in right. From the one video I saw at Pitbull (where I got them), it said Schrader valve at the bottom and rebound adjustment screw facing rear of Spyder. I...

    Is this kosher?

Is there any reason not to lift along this crossmember just enough to change shocks? So far just placed there, not lifted at all...

Anyone have this lift... Powerlift Triple Lift

Or see a reason not to use it? Has generally good reviews, plenty of lift capacity and it only $75 at PepBoys right now ($133 everywhere else)? Wish it was a little lower, but its the same as the basic HF or Craftsman at 5 1/2". Was thinking of going with the Craftsman Pro (Yellow) but nobody...

    Frunk/Cargo unit lower bolt

Does anyone happen to know the part # or size for the 2 lower bolts that hold the front cargo box / frunk in place? Mine seem to be MIA and I can't find them on the parts diagram. Pretty sure its a hex flange, maybe an M6 but need to know length for sure.

    Kuryakyn ISO Grip & Lidlox

I want to add the Kuryakyn ISO Grip with Throttle Boss and Lidlox to my '15 RT. I ordered the parts from Value Accessories. After I ordered I read this on the Kuryakyn site (see yellow highlighted)... So, my question is does anyone have this setup with all 3 components (Grip - the GL1800 ISO...

Is this Harbor Freight Jack/Lift OK? Anyone use one?

I know this has been discussed alot and I'm not trying to start another tire thread, but I wanted to hear from those that have them. Considering I am looking for a lift that will only be use maybe a few times a year - oil changes, etc. I am not wanting to spend the $800 for the Big Blue or...

    LEFT side antenna base?

Is there such a thing as an antenna base (the rubber grommet) for the left side? The right is part is "RH Radio Antenna Base 708300156" but I don't see a LH listed. I tried the RH base on the left and of course its the wrong angle. What do they use for CB antenna? I'm looking at mounting a ham...

    '15 RT A-Arm wiring

So I'm doing a bunch of wiring farkles which I will detail when I am done but I have a question for anyone that has hooked up lighting on the fenders/a-arms of the new style RT. I've got the actual wiring connections down I think but my question is in routing. The instructions from Tricled just...

    Thought we were going over...

Was a bit disconcerting the other night when we were coming back from a ride and made a left, on a street in our neighborhood which we've been on before, at about the same speed (maybe slightly hot this time) but this time we came up on 2 wheels with the inside/left wheel probably a good foot...

    Special Request

I am going to ask this with all due respect to everybody... I really enjoy participating on these forums and lots of posts are a good thing, but... I come here to try to read as many posts as possible in as short a time as possible, as I have less and less time to devote. So... I respectfully...

    FOBO accuracy

So I didn't want to derail the FOBO spot on thread so I started this one. I also thought the FOBO was pretty darn accurate and I don't know what happened but the FOBO seems off by 3 psi now. I don't know what is off, FOBO or the gauge but in earlier tests I thought this gauge was very accurate...

First Major Farkle - Ultimate Seat

So as improved as it may have been, I had all kinds of issues with stock seat. After around 30-60 minutes I had to wiggle all around and couldn't wait to get off and stretch. The whole thing with BRP selling their own upgraded seat is a disgrace - if they sell a 30k machine, why not put their...

Another Quick Oil Question - Initial change

Ok, so I know, another oil question. I HAVE read a ton on here but still want to ask this. So, when I bought the bike the service guy did say the initial service was 3k but he would highly recommend changing the original oil by 1k to get the initial crap out and not have it floating around till...

    A few technical questions...

I'm almost at 300 miles and getting a better feel for the bike, controls, etc. I want to really get a good feel for stock before I change sway bars, springs, etc, etc. I've read the manual, etc. as well but have a few questions... Sena 10u / Remotes

So I put a Sena 10U in my Neotec and find that the handlebar remote doesn't play well on the left handgrip with the SE6. Questions... 1. Has anyone gotten the handlebar remote to work well somewhere? 2. I was thinking of getting the wristband remote and putting it on the handlebar just to...

    LEDs

Ok, I know this has been talked about alot and I'm not going to make it a TricLED vs Custom Dynamics thing in the traditional sense - I believe from reading both are great products. I am in a kind of unique position where I am around 45 min from Reggy's shop and 5 minutes from another local shop...

    I drank the kool-aid

Yep, another Spyder newb here. I've been lurking here and lusting after an arachnid for around 3 years and last Wed a shiny new 2015 RT Limited made a maiden voyage from it's crate to my driveway (got a very good deal considering SoFla and couldn't pass it up). Hopefully now instead of drooling...
