• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Belt vibration

I know this has been beat to death over the years but.... Just had the dreaded sprocket failure on my 16 F3T SM6 Seminole Pwr Sports did the change out and BRP paid for it. All good, got 30k out of it before failure. But.... I always had the minor vibration between 60-65 that eased up when speed...

    F3 trailer loading issues

I've had this problem with both the toyhauler than I just sold and now with the utility trailer I bought to pull behind the Class A. Biggest issue is with the switch on the left by the transmission shaft. It's angled down and catches on the gate when unloading. I don't see a way to adjust it...

    Trailering the F3

Looking for unconventional tie down solutions. Just bought a 2010 Coachman toyhauler. The only way I can install tie downs directly in front of the front wheels is to remove the trailer water tank. That isn't going to happen. One thought I had with the existing tie downs is to secure the bike...

    toy hauler ramp solutions??

I'm switching over from a cargo trailer/camper I built to a 2010 29' toy hauler. Ramp is much steeper than the cargo trailer. I have some ideas to reduce the angle but I'd like to see what others have done. All ideas and pictures would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Pat

    Rear seat latch

Does anyone have a picture of the underside of their rear seat. I switched to an Ultimate Seat and don't care for it. Now I can't figure out how the spring goes on the latch post. Thanks Pat

    Ultimate seat

Question for anyone who has bought an Ultimate seat for their F3. If you didn't order it with the backrest, was the bracket for one already installed on the seat. I have Lamont's back rest from Ultimate so I don't need another. They told me on the phone I'd have to buy a bracket for the seat...

Open indicator switch on the top box

Anyone else having issues with this switch? I gave up today and just put a small tie wrap on it to keep the switch closed. Pat

    Lost more tupperware.

Speaker grill and fairing on my F3T top box went flying yesterday somewhere along my breakfast ride. No flipping clue how it popped off or where. Never had any reason to pull the cover off so it's never been removed by me. I was the last guy in the group so no one saw it come off. I had two...

    Handlebar risers

Posted this on FB F3 Spyder Lovers. Thought someone here might like to see it. I had been looking for risers for my F3T and really couldn't find anything that would work the way I wanted. While wandering around the dealer.... Boom.... the F3 Daytona has factory risers. The one issue I found was...

    Flag holder

Has anyone found a flag holder that works well on their F3T or L. I had a licence plate mount on my RTL to hold my Ensign and Don't Tread on me flags but it won't work on my F3T. I've looked at a bunch of them online and bike shops but nothing really seems to work. Thanks, Pat

    Heel/Toe shifter on an F3T? SM6

Has anyone found or manufactured a heel/toe shifter? I can live with what I have (16 F3T SM6) but this is a common set up on two wheel Cruisers. Just curious, Pat

    Towable camper?

Going to do my first long distance overnighter the end of the month and a depending on how my old bones take it.... I've started to think about a towable popup for future trips. Any suggestions or tips. Looking online but this is the place for people in the know about Spyder specific stuff. My...

Long distance travel recommendations with an F3L

I haven't done more than 400 mile round trips on either my RTL or the new F3T with a topcase. Looking for recommendations for a pack for the back seat, panniers and maybe the top case. And any other travel recommendations. Heading to Indianapolis the last week of September from SE Georgia. Had...

    Tall boy winsheld

Is anyone running the factory tall boy on their F3T or L? We ride all year down here and it does get cool, sometimes even cold and I'd like something a bit more protective. I'm short at 5'6" and like to look over the top. That's the one thing I miss about the RTL I had. Thanks, Pat

    F3 risers

Anyone know of someplace that sells risers for the F3? I already have the short reach bars but little more would feel a lot better. Thanks, Pat

    F3 frunk release

I don't know what to search for so I'll just ask. One of my very few pet peaves with my F3T is the Frunk. Having to turn the key and reach around to open the danged thing at the same time is a PITA. Has anyone come up with something to fix this. My RTL had a spring so it popped open. Small...

    Farkeling the new ride

Traded my 13 RTL for this 16 F3T about a month ago. Added the top box before delivery. Lamonster RIP boards, Spyder Pops skid plate. Lamonster Fog lamps, Lamonster mirror turn signals, Lamonster Longhorn mirror light kit, Lamonster F3 power plate. Still to come a pirate wrap for the frunk...

Pictures showing rotated 90° - Why? Any fix?

    Bump Skid installation disaster

Nothing wrong with Spyderpops bump skid...... Went to install the skid this morning on my new F3T. Went to drill the first hole on the right side and must have had two things go wrong. 1. I think my 1/4" bit was dull and 2. Even using a right hand drill I had the bit cocked just enough to punch...
