• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Changed my DPS unit

Changed my Dynamic Power Steering unit a few days ago. About a month ago, I got check engine light and limp home mode light. Pulled up codes P0551 and P0552, which says, "torque sensor open, damaged DPS, External troubleshooting not possible". Being that my Spyder is a 2008, GS, premier...

    Clutch fluid flush

Just got done flushing the manual clutch system on mine and my brother's '08 GS's. He bought his '08 last year, and I don't think it had ever been flushed before, and as for mine, it's been several years. In fact, too long. :lecturef_smilie: Rule of thumb is every two years, but since I don't...

    Replaced my Honda Gaskets

I thought I would take a look at my Honda "Y" pipe gaskets that I installed over three yrs ago, on my '08 GS manual. I've got to tell you, they looked as good as the day I installed them, except for the color. So if your thinking of doing the same, forget it, they're fine. It's too bad BRP...

    Ride to Tombstone

Took a nice ride to Tombstone yesterday with my Canadian neighbor who rides a BMW. This is about a 220 mile, round trip ride from Tucson, taking the back roads. We couldn't have asked for nicer weather, with the temp hitting 80 degrees, and slight winds. Spent about an hr. and half there...

    Lowered the tail

Well the other day I got boared, so I was looking at trying to lower the rear end of the Spyder. I made a couple of links out of some 1/8" flat stock, and mounted them, so as to lower the rear shock. By lowering the rear shock 1 3/4", it lowered the tail 3 3/4" and raised the nose 1 3/8". I...
