• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Cruise Control Headache (RTS) - Goes ON, but will not engage! Any ideas?

Short history: Bought this '16 RTS in January (15,000 miles on it). After putting a little over 1,000 miles on it, the Cruise will not engage. It indicates "ON" but will not engage. Which fuse controls this? Any other DIY solutions? Thanks in advance for your experience & help.

'16 RTS Rear Trunk Lid STUCK in closed position. Solution???

OK...new thread here. I've found several threads here focusing on this problem. It seems the advice offered thus far works on SOME RTs. For some reason the '16 is different?? I know this is undoubtedly the most creative, problem-solving group of Ryders on the planet. So... :dontknow:

Just got a '16 RTS & having a struggle with audio settings. I'm an avid NPR listener so need to have the best "talk radio" settings that allow me to hear their conversation. So far, no luck. Any of you veterans have a hint or two for me? Also...I got this RTS from out of state, so naturally...

    Belt vibration???

Had my '15RTL in the shop last Friday....they adjusted my drive belt (was in contact with inside flange). They successfully moved the belt so it was no longer touching. In the process, adjusted the belt tension. Did a 200 mile ride yesterday and consistently at 2800 - 3200 rpm I felt a new...

Tricled Mirror Turn Signal LED's...orientation issue?

Good morning all! In the process of installing these LED strips atop mirrors. The LEDs on each strip seem to be oriented/pointed to one side (once applied the light shines away from mirror rather than down). If I'm correct, the strips need to have one strip oriented for each side. The two I...

Quick question for those of you who own Spyders with the "satin finish" (aka non-gloss)...I assume you don't use conventional wax on them. What DO you use? Thanks for your help.

    More lights...more problems???

Having ridden bikes for over 50 years, I'm a firm believer in "safety in visibility!" I've always added lights in various combination in order to be seen...especially in the rear of the bike. Now...about to get a '14 RT Ltd that's stock (aka farkle-free) and wanting to start adding lights...

    Laser Alignment Question

I read an overwhelming number of owners singing the praises of getting a laser alignment. I have no experience with them other than what I read here. I know how often cars need re-alignments done. How often do Spyders need realigned? We certainly hit potholes and other things causing some...

    Dipstick remake

After several frustrating experiences with the stock dipstick while checking oil level, I had to try making one for only checking oil level. Pictures below show: find an old screwdriver....big washer with hole just big enough to slide over shank of sawn-off screwdriver... file down end & mark...

    Alternate use for safety card...

I recently found what I believe to be a better use for the pull out "safety card." When recently leading a ride with friends, rather than relying on my memory to recall all the turns, routes, etc. I mounted (temporarily, of course) a "cheat sheet" to the pull out card. Then as the ride went...
