• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Mutazu Saddlebags

Update on Mutazu bags. I bought a set of these a bit over a year ago. Chinese company, but the price was right, $300.00. They work well, but I recently broke one of the closure clasps that hold the bags closed. When I contacted Mutzau in CA to buy a repair clasp, I was told there were no...

    Run For The Wall 2018

Rode my F3S in the Run For The Wall, all the way from Ontario, CA to Washington, DC.

    Wiring Rear Lights

I recently installed a set of Mutazu bags with lights on my 2015 F3S. I looked all over the user forums for information on wiring, but didn't really see much. My son was here over the weekend and we got the bags wired up, so the lights on the new bags imitate the brake lights and turn signals...

    Front Grill Farkle

Like several others on this forum, I decided to paint the front grill of my F3S orange to match the body. While I had the grill off, I went one step further and painted the silver nose flat black as well. I've never really liked that silver, never thought it matched the rest of the bike. Next...

A few modifications to my F3S

A few of my modifications. I just added a 19" Gustafsson Custom Windshield, which I really like. The Gustafsson has the same styling as the BR windshield, it's just a whole lot bigger. I'm a bit over 6'1" and the 19" windshield is almost too tall. On a test ride today, I found myself...

Baja Ron Sway Bar - First Thoughts

Here are my initial thoughts on our new Baja Ron Sway Bar. We had just over 2,000 miles on our F3S when we put on the Sway Bar so I've had the opportunity to do some riding before putting the sway bar on the trike. We live in the Reno/Tahoe area and do a bit of mountain driving with lots of...

Note of Caution for BajaRon Swaybars

Just a note of caution. I ordered one of the RT BajaRon Swaybar kits from Lamonster because several forum users said it would work on the F3. When it arrived, I had second thoughts and contacted Ron at BajaRon to ask about the installations and instructions. Turns out the bar will physically...

    New Lamonster Bumpskid

Got my new Lamonster Bumpskid installed today. Installation time was about an hour. I have a Rigid hammer drill that really helped with the screws.... It looks really nice. :doorag::spyder2:

    Blue Ridge with X-creen Tour

I'm 6'2" so I ordered a Madstad windshield to replace my Blue Ridge. Unfortunately, after putting the Madstad on my F3, I just didn't like the way it looked. I reverted to the Blue Ridge and added X-creen Tour windscreen. I have to admit, it looks a bit strange but it works and I like it...

    Adding aPower Port

I decided to add a power port to the left panel of the F3. Upon looking through the forum posts, I found a couple of reference to the addition, but no photos. Sooooo, for you that like to get in there and play with things here are some pics. It's really easy once you know what to look for...

    Wompus Bike Rack

A previous post mentioned that Wompus Bike Racks, http://www.wompusracks.com/, might be making a trunk rack for the F3. I contacted Mike at Wompus and he tells me he has not been able to get anyone with an F3 to stop by his shop so he could get the measurements he needs. Wompus Racks is...

    Madstad 20" Windshield

Well I tried the extension bracket trick with my Blue Ridge Windshield. The windshield certainly works better than it did, but it's still not great. I'm 6'2". With the bracket extension trick, the wind still hits me in the head, so I've ordered a Madstad windshield and found out it shipped...

    New Viking Saddlebags

Okay, so I decided when I bought my F3 that I was not going to pay the ridiculous price Can Am was asking for their saddlebags. They are very proud of their bags to say the least. I had a set of Viking bags on the Yamaha Raider I traded in on my F3 and I knew Viking had a universal mount for...

    Applying Wrap

I ordered Spyder decals from wrapmyspyder.com. Here are some pics from the application this morning. It turned out great. Cudos to wrapmyspyder.com for a great product.

    F3 Vibration

So, I took my new F3 on it's first long ride yesterday which entailed some freeway driving. Turns out I have the belt harmonics between 67 mph and 72 mph. Has anyone found a solution to this issue, or has anyone had any success with a resolution through Can Am. :ani29:
