• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Maybe trikes are gang exempt?

Seems as though the FBI thinks all motorcycle riders are gang members. This couldn't apply to trikes could it? http://nationalreport.net/fbi-admits-registered-motorcycle-owners-classified-gang-list/

Baja Ron's RT shock adjuster - Report

I'm one of Ron's test pilots for the front shock pre-load adjuster that he's developing and I'm providing this update with his permission. To provide some background, I've been riding for over 40 years and currently have a 2013 RT-S and a 1997 Honda Valkyrie. I started on Spyders in 2008 with a...

    Hello Virginia

My wife and I have ridden from Phoenix, AZ to play in a soccer tournament and are currently staying in Chesapeake. We spent our first night in Virginia in Roanoke, after riding the Blue Ridge Pkwy from Asheville, SC. and then rode into Chesapeake last night. After playing soccer this morning, we...

    4 bolt handlebar pattern

Can anybody confirm that the 4 bolt handlebar pattern is the same from 2012 to 2013 RT-S models? I'm looking at a bracket that attaches to the lower two bolts and the manufacturer hasn't tested it on a 2013 model. Thanks.

    Hand Brake Poll

I've been a Spyder owner since 2008 and have put almost 30K miles on it. Having ridden 2 wheeled bikes for over 40 years before "graduating" to the Spyder, I would still prefer that my Spyder had a hand brake instead of or in combination with a foot brake. Since we now have a sizable group...

Is it time to stop group riding?

This weekend I was riding with a group of 2 wheeled friends, including my daughter on a VTX and son-in-law on a Valkyrie, when a Goldwing rider, 5 riders ahead of me took a right hand curve wide and went head on into an oncoming small car. He was too fast in, couldn't get back on track, and made...

    BRP's outlook......not encouraging

    DPS Delay and RideNow

    Y-gaskets - an alternate opinion

We just got back from a trip to Glacier Park in Montana and on the return trip we stayed in Stanley, Idaho. We awoke to a temperature of 39F and it wasn't until we got to Utah did the temp reading climb to 55F. I couldn't have been happier for every BTU that escaped the Y-gasket. Mind you, my...

    Is it worth it?

I've had my Spyder RS for a couple of years and have about 17K miles on her. I've added a lot of comfort features and turned her into a sports tourer, but was wondering if the RT is worth the investment.......is it that much more comfortable? Currently my nits are the seats - even though I have...

    Gotta love that Chief Joseph

This weekend I treated my wife and I to a ryde to Yellowstone. Last week we rode from Phoenix to Salt Lake and on Friday rode up to Jackson Hole, WY, spent the night and then onto Yellowstone and onto the Beartooth Highway. As much as I had heard about the Beartooth, I was disappointed in that...
