• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Rear footpeg extensions!

I've seen several owners make their own extensions to move the rear pegs forward and down. Is anyone working on a production setup to relocate the rear pegs. I sat back there to see what my wife was complaining about and it feels like I'm falling forward. I was much more comfortable with my...

    Premium vs. regular?

There's been a lengthy discussion about fuel octane and the Spyder but what about the quality of the gas. Is the only difference between regular and premium the octane rating or is premium a better quality of fuel?

    Turbocharged Spyder?

Has anybody heard of anyone attempting to turbocharge the spyder. I've seen a few turbo motorcycle sites online but haven't seen anything about the spyder. I'm ready for a serious boost of power. I've already changed the exhaust, air filter, and made a cold are intake but none of those mods...

    Wheel adapter orders!

I would be willing to take orders for wheel adapters If we can come up with a general concensus on which adapter would best suit the "do it your selfers" needs. I mention this because the stock wheel studs are 1 1/4"s long. I made my adapters 1" think and had to clearance the wheels to go over...

I appologize if I've offended anyone who made comments about fuel octane, quality, or compression ratio. I try to gain perspective from everyone's post to make myself more educated, I just wantt everyone to keep in mind that the BRP factory service manual doesn't recommend 87 octane, they...

    UP ON TWO WHEELS!

After reading comments about adjusting the preload on the front shocks I decided to adjust mine to the next to stiffest setting. It doesnt lean into turns anymore but I had it up on two wheels three times. The turns were sharp, hairpin, first gear turns and I had no problem getting back onto...

    Gas mileage with mods

For the last two tankfulls I've gotten 36 miles per gallon and I know I'd do better if I'd ride it as easy by myself as I do with my wife on the back. We rode about 150 miles at 30-50 mph, through back country roads and the fuel gauge was at half full. I rode about 50 miles myself at 65-80 mph...
