• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What Kind of "Release" Did You Sign?

If your local Spyder dealer will only install non-OEM tires on your Spyder if you sign a "release", what's in that release? What parts of warranty does it nullify? How much are you left hanging on your own if you do that? Any hesitations? Thanks.

    Quicker Cornering Techniques?

I've been riding a 2014 RTL for about 1 1/2 years. I'm 68 years old and am rather conservative and danger-averse rider. I don't usually exceed the speed limit (much), etc. That said, I'm going on a several-day trip this fall with a friend to ride curvy roads in Arkansas. He's a more...

    Pegs for Long Legs

It seems most of the highway peg solutions for the Spyder involve placing the pegs up and over the curved splash guard. This doesn't work for me. It feels like I'm squatting on a low toilet and my hips are more prone to cramping. I simply cannot stretch out with this set-up. So I tried...

    Different kind of highway pegs?

I have a 2014 RT Ltd. and me having a 31-32" inseam, I need highway pegs. I have looked at (and tried) one of the sets that have the peg positioned above the curved splash guard. Those do me no good. First, they don't let me stretch OUT -- just UP. That puts my hips at a more-acute angle and...

Do I Need a Special Tool?

I noticed the side panels on my 2014 RTL were loose. I took out my tool pouch to find the right Torx bit to tighten them. Lo and behold, I discover the screws have a "nipple" down in there preventing the Torx bit from entering. Whassup with that? I stopped by my local dealership and asked...

    Shout-out to Spyderpops

I would like to give a quick shout-out to the folks at Spyderpops who helped me with a problem (that wasn't even theirs to begin with). They are good folks and I wouldn't hesitate to do business with them in the future.

    Disconnecting the seat piston

This is so basic ... please bear with me. I just acquired a 2014 RT Limited and the dealership installed the BRP backrest upon delivery. The backrest sits me a little too straight up. From what I've been able to find out so far, the only way to get any backward/forward adjustment on the rest...

Laser Alignment - Please Explain the Need

I'm a week-old Spyder newby and have spent lots of time on this wonderful forum trying to get quickly up to speed on the vagaries of this machine. I've read numerous posts about getting a laser alignment but that has generated this basic question I'd like to get input on. Do Spyders come from...

    Spyder F3 Questions

Hello. I've become very interested in the new Spyder F3. Several months ago I "kicked the tires" on a Spyder RT and was very taken with it except for one thing. The foot peg position that keeps my old knees bent too much. The design of the RT doesn't look readily adaptable to highway pegs to...
