• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Was fun, but time to move on....

So, the time has come. The wife traded in her her 2012 RT-SE5 towards a Subaru Crosstrek. She just never really rode the Spyder as much as she thought she would. To cold, nope! Same with to hot. To say she was a fair weather rider is a understatement. We ended up taking the Burgman on almost all...

2012 RTSE5 stalling at take off. FUN in heavy traffic!

Bike has 13,532 miles and it recently started this craziness. The "check engine" will flash at random during take off/first gear only (no flash pattern, just random flicker). Oil level is good. Fuel tank is not overfilled. Then it started cutting off at random during take off. Now it started...

    Shorter rider input needed.

My wife is starting to take a liking to the 2012 RT-SE5, but at 5'1" she finds the arm reach to long and would like a backrest that is "adjustable". We are thinking of pulling the trigger on the adjustable handlebars that BRP sells ($650!) and a Utopia backrest (adjust forward in the video)...

Doing something stupid and/or crazy today (ice related), wish me luck.

I have to go back to work today after two days off because of dreaded snow. What's so stupid about that you say? I have to take the Spyder, on icy/nasty/treated roads! I know what all of you are thinking-Not in a million years!-and I agree, but I don't have a car and the Buddy 125 scooter with a...

Part # for a shop manual needed. I already searched...

I'm old school, so I like the physical shop manuals-not the PDF computer types. Anyways, I ordered a shop manual ($162.49) for my 2012 RT SE5 and I suspect I recieved the wrong one. I cannot find a site that sells the manuals to compare the part number in the lower right corner with. Anyone else...

    Just got a 2012 RT SE5!

The blue one. 10,000miles. Mint condition! Thank you for posting the "Do and Do Not's". Reading that prior to the test ride of the Spyder made it MUCH easier and enjoyable! Actually got it for my wife, she wanted to upgrade to something bigger, faster and more comfortable from her Buddy 125...
