• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Brake problem — scratching my head

Took my ‘14 RTL to a dealer for its annual and a brake problem that started recently. I noticed that the Spyder was pulling to the left during hard braking (which happens frequently here in FL this time of year). After waiting for four hours I was told that the left front brake was inoperative...

    I passed!

I passed the FAA Part 107 commercial drone pilot exam. Now I can legally sell my drone photo services. Having a pilot's license for years helped. Having to learn all the regulations, airspace restrictions, and weather from scratch would be tough.

Two tropical storms in the Caribbean and Gulf

Bret formed out of the Atlantic, the earliest named storm to do so. Should not affect the US but it's not a good time to go to Aruba. The other system just upgraded to Cindy and will affect the Gulf Coast from TX to FL. Over a foot of rain possible in some areas. Storm will then head north and...

    An important notice

Many of you don't know me, but I am not a big fan of divisive arguments about politics and personal beliefs. However, I feel compelled to state my opinion on crastination. I am pro-crastination. There, I got it off my chest. I may have more to say later, but it's much too soon for that. We...

Need to find a new gun store...

Got my gun permit yesterday, then went over to the local gun shop to get a small 9mm for home protection.
