• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2012 RT won't start after extended sitting - any ideas?

A little background. Due to medical issues, I haven't ridden it for about a year. I have started it to move it around in the shop. The battery was very weak so I replaced the battery, after that it will crank over fine, but not start. The first few times I tried it, it would fire once and then...

    Bead rider attachment

Tried a beadrider on my 2012 RT yesterday and it helped, but was wondering how others have attached it. It comes with good size bungee hooks, but they looked like it would damage the seat. Any brilliant answers out there. Ages ago I bought a bag for an old dirt bike that came with padded and...

    Vent install instructions

Would somebody that has the instructions for the vent install on 2012 RT be kind enough to send them? I thought I had saved some a while back, but evidently lost them. Thanks. [email protected]

    Non-Corona ride 2

Bonnie and I took the Spyder down the back way to 3 Points, we tried to get up to Kitt Observatory, but the road was closed. We stopped at a Rest Stop and had our picnic of peanut butter sandwhichs and chips. We rode on to Saguaro Natl Park and rode out to Old Tucson. The guy behind the...

    Downshifting issue

2012 RT SE5, was dying at stop lights frequently, I put in some Seafoam, it does it less often, but a new problem has popped up. If I'm cruising along in 5th gear and come to abrupt stop it only shifts down to second. If I'm going slowly in 2nd or 3rd and stop or slow way down it shifts down to...

    DPS Error

The other night we were going to Deadwood for dinner and the Spyder sputtered and showed a DPS error, it went into limp mode. I was only a couple of miles from Deadwood and knew I could get help there so continued on. Shut the bike off and had dinner, came out an hour later and it started up and...

2014 block off plate on 2012 RT

So I'm finally getting around to installing the 2014 block off plate on my 2012 RT and have a question for those that have already done it. I'm pretty sure there needs to be more airflow out the bottom, did you drill holes in the bottom, cut a big hole or what? Thanks

Dealer Install vents for heat reduction

I thought I read a few instances were dealers have installed the 2013 heat reduction vents on older models and BRP paid for it. I was the local dealer and asked about that and got a resounding NO. The service mgr said it was a 5 or 6 hour install and BRP didn't cover the time required to do it...
