• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Suspension Fault on 2022 RT Ltd - any opinions?

Similar to others that I have read about on the forum, my 2022 RT Limited is getting "Suspension Faults." While back to look at it at the dealership they did find an air leak in the system and corrected that. But, I am still getting the fault, and there is no rhyme nor reason when or why it...

Personalization I've had added to my Spyder

Had a local graphics shop add some personalization.

    New Year's Day ride

Ahhhh.... 50 degrees and a hundred miles, that is a good start for the new year in New England!

    Battery Replacement - CCA's

This is probably one of those topics like oil and tires that will raise all sorts of opinions... but, what should the minimum Cold Cranking Amps be for an RT when looking for a new battery? I have a 2014 RTS, and have never had any issues with the battery, but approaching four years old, I...

Corbin Seat and Backrest question (on an RT)

Recently put a Corbin seat on my RT. Would like to hear from anyone that has the seat -- with a backrest. I have not bought a backrest (yet) and my wife said to make sure it can be easily taken off when she rides. Would like to hear from any of you who have the seat/backrest combo. Thanks Bob

    A good luck spider

There was a spider on my Spyder today. That is a good sign for this time of winter... of course sunshine, 51 degrees, dry and clear roads in Central New England on January 31 along with a 75 mile ride is also a good sign. Someone in PA kill that ground hog before he comes out of his hole this...

Riding weather in the NE is disappearing!

We have been fortunate with our extended riding season... had rides on both Thanksgiving and Christmas. But I think it is time to finally put the RT away before they roll out to treat the roads on Tuesday. :-( ...plowable snow.... and ice for us.

    Solar Battery Maintainer

I know that I am not the only person that has no electricity where I store my Spyder, so I wanted to share what I found. The solar panel is from ZampSolar and is for my new solar batter maintainer. It took me about 20 minutes to get it all set up. Just like the "Battery Tender" that most of us...

    Apple picking - RT style

"Can we stop and get some U-pick Apples while we are out for a ride?" She asks... "of, course we can. We have plenty of room!" Almost a bushel in the Frunk and a half bushel in the trunk. :D

Locking your helmet - Another (inexpensive) alternative

I came up with a different way to lock helmets when the Frunk is unavailable. I bought a piece of cable from the local hardware store and looped it and secured it under the seat. When not in use the end that secures to the D-ring rests next to the passenger seat. Then I use the carabiner lock...

    Just past 10K!

Out for an ice cream ride this afternoon with the wife and passed the 10,000 mile mark on the '14 RT. We are very pleased with our choice to purchase the Spyder... just passed our 10 month anniversary with it, so 10K is not too bad considering the 4 (plus) months of serious New England winter...

    Shell gasoline

Has anyone else noticed a difference in gas mileage between brands? With Gulf and Mobil I average 39-40 MPG (on my 2014 RT). When I run Shell for a couple of tanks I jump to 43, and with the last tank was up to 45 mpg without changing the way I ride. (And this is NOT with the ECO mode on). Bob

    Iron Butt Rally

I have been following this year’s Iron Butt Rally on line. The motorcycles participating have had satellite tracking devices so you could visit a webpage and see where they all are during the rally. I kept screen shots as they progressed around the country and made a video to follow them as...
