• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Rear Suspension Adjustment Upgrade

I have a 2014 RT base model (not the Limited version). Is it possible to upgrade the manually adjustable rear suspension to the remote adjustable version? If so, any idea how much that would approximately cost? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Problem with Trip A

I don't think I've read about this problem before so I thought I would check with everyone. I filled up with gas this morning and reset my Trip A to zero like I always do. This time though the Trip A is now stuck at zero and won't change. The regular mileage indicator and Trip B work fine...

    Resistors for turn signals

I'm getting ready to replace the reflectors on the saddle bags and front fenders with the running/turn signal combo lights. Does anyone know if I will need to add resistors so that they blink properly? I already put LED strips on the inside of my mirrors (as turn signals) and I had to add...

    Ride Report

I had my first long trip with my Spyder this last weekend. 3-days and 1093 miles from Phoenix to the Pacific Coast Hwy and back. Great ride and the Spyder handled beautifully. We even got a chance to go on some twisty canyon roads. The high temperatures ranged from the 70s to the 80s. I saw two...

    Audio Issue

Last week I had to reset some of my audio settings because they went back to the default settings. I thought this was because I recently had my 3,000 mile check-up and they got changed. My settings were fine all last week as I rode everyday to work. Over the weekend I did not ride it and this...

    Fender Lights

After Christmas I'm going to be switching out all my reflectors for lights. I have a 2014 RT with the original style fenders. I have found the lights that replace the reflectors on the side of the fender but is there one for the reflector on the back of the fender? The one that faces towards...

    Squared Away

It was a real pleasure meeting Ann and Joe from Squared Away today. They are visiting down in Tucson and I had them do a laser alignment and install a BajaRon Swaybar for me. The Spyder already had a smooth ride but with the laser alignment it was even smoother. I can't wait to ride some...

    Good and Bad Day

I began my day going on a 180 mile Poker Run ride. I'm getting used to my Spyder and loving the ride through the desert. I was very happy that I was getting used to the turns and how comfortable I felt. A little before half way I was taking off from a stop sign and the bike began to jerk. I...

    Sway Bar Question

I'm a new Spyder rider with just a little over 1,000 miles. I'm a lot more comfortable with the trike than I was at the beginning but I'm still getting used to it. Many of you have said how great a sway bar is but I don't know exactly how it changes the riding experience. What does it actually...

    Ready for Winter

Just installed my Gerbing controller for my heated jacket liner. The dealer wanted to charge $330 so I thought I'd do it myself. I was a little worried about taking everything apart for the first time but it wasn't that bad. Now I'm ready for other installs! I put the controller on the left...

    Finding a good Spyder mechanic

It seems that finding a good mechanic for your Spyder can be a little difficult. I've had my Spyder for a little over a month so it has never been into the shop yet. I have two minor issues and I thought I would take it into my local dealer. The first issue is that my headlights need adjusting...

    New Web Boards

Just replaced pegs with new web boards. I drove it to work this morning and I love them! Much more comfortable than the pegs. The only problem I had this morning was that since my foot was in a different position the brake wasn't where I thought it was!
