• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Rear shock replacement question

I need a new rear shock. My question is what is the difference between the rear shock on the RS and the RS-S? The RS shocks are listed as not available until Aug. 15, but the RS-S shock is available (I have an '08 GS/RS). Anyone know?

30k mile first valve clearance check

I've been getting a slight "pop" in my exhaust lately @ 3000 RPM under a slight load and decided since I have over 30,000 miles on the bike and haven't yet checked the valve clearance I would start the diagnosis by trying to rule them out. So I got my valves checked today @ Progressive...

    Steering (ONLY) Update Observation

Well, I got the update on Wednesday. I noticed a change right away in the way the steering responded. It seems to be much smoother in twisty situations. There is an improvement in the turn in (initiation of turn) and also when you release pressure as you begin to exit the turn. There used to be...

    Oil pressure sensor issues

I have been getting the oil light staying on when I start the engine. Generally, I shut it off and restart and it goes off. However lately I have been getting the check engine message. Today I pulled the error code and my dealer says it is showing a faulty oil pressure sensor. He told me how to...

:thumbup:A big thumbs up on this mod. I just got back from my test ride of this newest goodie fron No Magic Neon. First, I paid full price, got no special discounts and have no other previous experience with NMN. Second, this is by far the most impressive mod I have made yet on my bike...

So, what do YOU call it?

Ski-Doos are known as Snowmobiles, sleds , Moto-neige (in Canada) etc. Sea-Doos are PWC or Jet skis etc. Since Bombardier invented both of those and has now given us the Spyder, maybe we should think about the future moniker(s) of the :spyder: I fondly call mine a "Roadmobile", because...

Windshield Storage - Glasses cell phone etc.

I found this in an LL Bean Personal Items shower bag. It works great for small items you want quick access to. I cut off the shower hook and put self stick velcro on the dash side (its already on the pouch).
