• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Floorboards & Brake Extension

My SE5 curser is now complete. I have added it's floorboards which I will review briefly here. I selected the ISCI floorboards. They cost me just a little under a grand. I got the floor boards right and left side, the brake extension lever and peddle, and the parking brake extension peddle...

    New Look

I recently got the BRP/Givi saddle bag luggage, Corben front seat and smuglar trunk. I use the trunk as a rear cowl and leave it on most all the time. I rarely ride double so I don't need the rear seat. Should the occasion arise I will be able to ad the seat as the Corben rear seat and trunk are...

    Queen Windscreen

I recently got the F1 Queen adjustable windshield for my Spyder and have now had a chance to ride a bit with it and here are some of my observations. First, the screen is a big one it has more of the shape of a Harley full screen except that it has a lot of molding in the surface which seems...

    Bar Bag

I needed a little something to keep things in as I ride. Sunglasses, gloves, small bot. of suntan lotion, comb, etc. So I got this from Wal-Mart. $7.89. It does the trick and unhooks quickly for storage. Mike

    Custom Cover

I needed a quickly deployable cover for my Spyder. One I could pull over when I parked. One that didn't unnecessarily cover the wheels And certainly not the exhaust. So I had one made for me. It has separate wheel covers when I need them. And is vented to let out the heat. Mike

    Spyder Site Updated ! ?

I just went to the Spyder BRP site. I guess they have upgraded it or something. Any way it looks like it is geared for DSL or Cable speed modems I couldn't make it work with my Satellite Internet system. Way to slow. Heaven help the poor guy with dial up. I guess I will have to see if I can...

    Starting Problem?

Every now and then when I go to start my SE5 Spyder nuthing happens. I turn the key, depress the brake, check the kill switch, push in the M button, and hit the starter button. --- Nuthin It seems to happen most after not riding for a while. Like I said it is very intermittent. I fiddle-fart...
