• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Farkle Opportunities at Red Rock?

Any thoughts on opportunities for farkling at Red Rocks? I know there will be various vendors on site and am looking for farkle ideas for the 2012 RT. Already done farkles: Floorboards, cat delete, bajaron swaybar and end links, GPS, voltage gauge replacement for analog gauges, rubber ducky...

    Hidden Bass Setting?

Does anyone know what the "secret" setting does in preferences when you select audio and then press up? It still shows as being the bass setting, but the option list changes. Can't find anything in the owners manual about it and my searchs on the forum didn't yield results. Are there really two...

    Helmet Storage Question

This may have already been asked, but I haven't been able to find anything. Is it safe to store your helmet in the Spyders frunk when air temperatures are in the 115-120 Fahrenheit range or will the high temperatures weaken the helmet's structure over time? It's very convenient to just put...

Good News from RideNow Peoria, AZ

There's been a lot of negative posts about RideNow, but I wanted to say something positive. Just got a call from RideNow in Peoria, AZ informing me that they would be installing the new scoops to help with heatvon my 2012 RT-S as a "good will" gesture. RideNow called BRP to get authorization...

    New Instrument

So, I added two new gauges. One, on the left, is a nice functional voltage gauge. Any one care to guess what the other one is. Hint: It's not an amperage gauge and really serves no useful purpose other than being cool. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Thought This Was Pretty Funny

This may not translate well, but the local paper ran a front page story on April 1st about Cave Creek banning motorcycles. For those of you who are not familiar, Cave Creek, AZ is one of the most motorcycle friendly towns in AZ. The full joke front page is here...

    First Purely Cosmetic Mod

I found a nice chrome spider and couldn't help myself. After floorboards and a cat delete install, it seems kind of trivial, but it makes me smile. Has anyone else succumbed to this type of temptation? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    I'm officially an incompetent idiot

Today I decided to install the cat delete pipe I bought from pit bull in preparation for a big ride a week from Saturday. The spyder is now torn apart in the garage with the cat removed and I've discovered my skill is insufficient to install the bypass pipe. I've tried all the tricks suggested...

    Seal Floorboards

Received my awesome Seal floorboards today and installed them over my lunch hour. They really are well made and easy to install. One question for those of you with these floorboards... Did you reinstall the weights under the foot pegs or leave them off? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Just Wanted to Say Hello

Well, I sold my nine year old Harley and bought a lightly used 2012 Spyder RT-S. Best decision I ever made when it comes to motorcycles. These are really great machines. Zero problems in the first few hundred miles and the storage is fantastic. My helmet, gloves and jacket all fit in the...
