• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    F3-s recc?

I have a 2018 F3-S which has an RECC like the attached photo. The OEM Operator's Guide informs about the totally different RECC on the F3-T, but no mention of the one on the F3-S. Whilst I've sort of worked out what most buttons do, does anyone know if there is documentation on this that...

    F3-S Saddlebags/panniers?

Just taking delivery of a 2018 dealer demo F3-S and in need of some luggage. Been looking at Shad SH36 panniers and Leatherworks bags. Any Australian distributors or reasonably priced alternatives? https://photos.app.goo.gl/NonGuYsrgRAJfxnd9 Thanks, JK

    Brake Failure alarm

Brake Failure (2008 RS SM5): Brake Failure warning on today - Manual says low fluid or brake sensor failure. Well, it's not the former, for fluid's the first thing I checked :( Trouble is I live in rural Western Australia (Broome) and am 2,500 km from nearest dealer in Perth. Anyone any...

    Steering free play

My 2008 RS SM5 with 17,000km on the clock developed this free play at the handlebar ends about 1,500km ago. There is no play in the tie-rod ends or looseness in the ball joints. It doesn't seem to be getting worse, but there is about 1/2 in (2cm) of play at the bar ends. Has anyone had this...

Belt tension basics (without sonic gauge)?

I'm having a new rear tyre fitted (Toyo Proxes 4) on my RS next week by a local (non Can Am) bike dealer - I live in the sticks and the nearest Spyder dealer is 2,200km away! The actual tyre replacement is similar to any belt drive bike and I do not see any issues. However, the belt is very...

    Yet another tyre/tire query!

I live in the north west of Australia where it is hot all year around: 30C (86F) in winter to 38C+ (100F) in summer. The OEM rear tire on on my RS (i.e. 225/50R15) is down to the wear strips in 8,000km and it's never had great grip. I've read all the threads and some go for Toyo, others Kumho...

    Powerlet on Spyder RS?

Just purchased a Spyder RS and feel the need for some (electrical) power! On previous bikes I've always used Powerlet fittings, but on their website they do not have any kit listed specifically for the RS. Who's fitted Powerlet to this model, what did you use, and where did you place the...

    New owner from Broome

Yesterday (24/03/2014) I took delivery of a 2008 Spyder RS SM5 with only 2,800km on the clock! I purchased this from the original selling dealer (Savage Motorcyles, Perth) and this is genuine mileage (kilometerage?) on a machine that's really never been used. Only options fitted are the matt...
