• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Kudos to TRICLed

I must say that Cindy at TRICLed has certainly "raised the bar" and set a new standard for Customer Service! I sent her an e-mail on Saturday about one of my amber fender lights not working and she immediately responded and requested a photo of the light. I asked her for a RH side replacement...

    Air Vest

I am thinking about purchasing a Hit Air air vest for riding. Does anyone else have any experience with air vest's? BTW, I called my insurance company (Progressive) and they really don't care about my safety, only the safety of my Spyder. No extra deductions for safety equipment like helmets...

    Garmin 660 will not connect

I cannot get my 660 to connect to my computer to up-date my maps. I was able to up-date my Garmin Nuvi before hand so I know the cable is good. Anyone else had this problem?

    DC Trip

Tomorrow morning I leave for Washington DC on the Spyder. I need to be at the AUSA convention for Monday's announcement for the Army's "Best Warrior" competition. This week has been the final week of the event that my son is competing in with 19 other soldiers. If he wins I want to be there to...

    No More Belt Squeaking

I spent some time this morning re-aligning my rear tire to eliminate the squealing of the belt. It was rubbing the flange on the sprocket so hard it actually wore the tooth pattern into it. I also maintained the right amount of belt tension while doing so. The first thing I noticed was the...

    Hitch Removal

So I bought a 36mm socket today so I can align my belt to keep it from rubbing the flange. Is it easy to remove the BRP hitch to access the axle nut? Thanks,

    Missing Dust Cap

I was washing the Spyder a couple weekends ago and I kept bumping the plastic cap over the front axle nut and it was falling off. I doesn't actually snap on very tight to begin with. I noticed the other day I am missing the right cap and the axle nut is exposed. Is there a seal behind there to...

    Air hawk R

I called my internet motorcycle supply store today to order an Airhawk seat cushion and they would not sell me one. They said there was no listing for a Can Am Spyder there they would not sell me one. So how are people specifying a make and model to fit their Spyders? Is there a Spyder Lovers...

    Pre Season Oil Change

So I brave the 27 degree weather yesterday morning (Saturday) to take my 2014 RT in for an oil change to start the season. When I get it back home I notice oil dripping from the underside of the chassis in a number of areas. Check the oil level and it reads on "min". It almost looks as if they...

First long ride of the Season

I will be traveling on a business trip early in April so I thought I would ride the Spyder instead of flying from Flint, MI to Somerset WI. (900 miles one way) Plan on taking the scenic route through the UP and back down. I don't mind the cold I just hope for no snow.

    Done for the winter

I finally realized the riding season was done here in Michigan. I have to admit, in 46 years of riding I have never ridden up to the 23 of November. This has to be the longest season ever. So as I am reading the instructions to prep the Spyder for storage they recommend greasing the 'A' arms...
