• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My doctor asked if anyone in my family suffered from mental illness and I said, “No, we all seem to enjoy it.” Just once, I want a username and password prompt to say, “Close enough.” I'm a multi-tasker. I can listen, ignore, and forget all at the same time...

    American Buffalo

Part 1 of Ken Burns latest documentary, the American Buffalo, aired on PBS last night. One of the factors leading to the decimation of the buffalo population was killing them solely for the hide. One of the tactics used by native Americans, and later by white hunters, for killing was to drive...

Have Forum postings slowed down ???

Boy, lately the traffic on this site has really slowed down. What might be the most likely reason? Is everyone too busy, are members getting bored with the site, or is it as I think, the newness of Spyders in the m/c world has worn off and all things Spyder have matured to the point where there...

With all the discussions we've had about wheel alignment issues I couldn't let this go by without posting! I know this probably should be in the joke subforum, but it's just too good to not put where everyone is most likely to see it!

    Too hot to ryde!

So how many of you have been like me the past several days, very reluctant to get out and ride because of the heat? For several days now, and quite a few more to come, the temp in SW Idaho has been around 95° to 100°. Above 95° I find it's just takes too much effort to keep cool and avoid heat...

We need some data points on battery drain!

There have been many discussions on the forum through the years about the power drain on the battery when the Spyder is off. But, AFAIK, no one has posted how much that current draw is. It would be good to know that number. What we need is for a few owners to measure that current draw the next...
