• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Rear shock/air bag air pressure regulation by BUDS?

2014 RTS I seem to remember reading in here that there is a setting in BUDS that governs how much air pressure is pumped into the air bag. The switch that shows different levels of air pressure must have some sort of parameter to go by if I understand. Can someone confirm this for me and what...

Seperateing Magic Mirror Magnets. I think this made it easier.

I decided to try something to make it easier to separate the magnets. I was concerned about loosing a spacer and getting them stuck together. I have old style Work Mates which of course have wooden work surfaces and a grove in the edges that clamp things in them. I clamped the role of magnets...

Rear tire replacement and alignment update and thanks Joe Meyer

I had posted another thread a few days ago about a small problem I had with putting my rear wheel back on following replacement of the tire. New General Altimax now. Firstly thanks to all that responded with tips. Actually that small problem went away quickly but the real challenge was getting...

Putting rear wheel back on after tire change question

2014 RTS I replaced my rear tire and am putting the thing back together. I have the tire bolted on, cotter pin in and shock bolt back in. I had used tape on the adjustment blocks to try and make sure they didn't move out of adjustment. I had pushed the tire forward while tightening the nuts to...

Windshield arm replacement problem. Thoughts requested

I am in the process of replacing my windshield arm and have run into a small problem. Before it gets to be a big problem I thought I would ask for some thoughts. I'm at the point of taking off the screws from the pieces covering the gear head and magnet holding the arm. The 2 torx screws...

F4 Customs Tall and Wide RT windshield question

For those of you that have made this switch from the OEM to the Tall and Wide for the RT model I have a question. How much difference do you AND your passenger feel compared to the OEM windshield and in particular when it is in its fully extended position at highway speeds? Even lowered all the...

    Loose screws in RTS dash

Just a little heads up. This week while out riding I noticed that one of the 4 screws in my dash was just sitting there in the little depression. Lucky that it didn't go awol. There was no real reason for it to be loose. I have never taken the dash off so it just seems to have loosened on its...

It was a Hail of a day on the way to Spyderfest

It was my birthday today and I doubt I'll have another quite like it. Left Evanston Wy this morning and it was just below freezing but other wise quite fine. The start of our 3rd day. Destination was Sidney, Nebraska. My wife Karen and I got to within 10 miles of Sidney, when the clouds went...

Toll Roads on the way to Spyderfest

I noticed that there are several toll roads that might be encountered on the way to Spyderfest. We don't have any out here. Not planning on taking them but if I happen to get on one, is there anything I need to know? Do they have toll booths (probably not?) or is a payment request mailed to you...

Rear brake issue on my 2014 RTS SE6

Here it is with under 3 weeks before leaving for Spyderfest and I am having an issue with the rear brake on my 2014. I recently changed the rear tire and with the help of Finless Bob's video, it was pretty straight forward. Thanks again Bob and also for the additional answers to some of my...

2014 RTS Rear Wheel removal Questions

I have viewed Lamont's video for RS wheel removal and have searched for and found a number of threads but still have some questions. For the RTS the removal of the Air Level Sensor Lever is required in addition. Does anyone have a picture of said lever? I would just like to know what it is that...

Received Our New Ultimate Seat Today

I have to give Ultimate Seats a big . Today another thread was talking about good customer service. I will say that I think Ultimate falls into the group of vendors that provide great customer service and a great product based upon what my experience has been. The whole experience has...

    Question for Ultimate Seat owners

I have been thinking about maybe making a change and replacing my basic OEM seat on our 2014 RTS some time down the road. Ultimate advocates buying their rain cover and I understand their reason for the need but would like to know if folks that have bought the rain cover really use it that...

Another Happy Bajaron Sway Bar Convert

Well, first off I want to thank Ron for being great to deal with during the purchase of my sway bar. Delivery time is great. Ron answered my questions quickly and went out of his way to facilitate the transaction as I don't use paypal. I confess to being a little sceptical about what...

Some observations after about 1 month of ownership of 2014 RT-S

After having been used to riding on 2 wheels the transition to ryding 3 wheels is going very well. Every time I go out I feel that much more comfortable and am able to push the envelope more. I feel like I'm getting a much better idea of what it takes to corner these things. Straight lines where...

Finally have our 2014 Cognac RTS SE6

In December we put a deposit down on a 2014 RTS which was due in the dealership in April. Also had to sell our Goldwing first. Well everything finally came together. The spyder arrived in the dealership about 2 weeks ago at about the same time as I got a serious offer on our Wing. The Wing deal...

Wireless Headsets on a Schuberth C3 Pro Helmet

I know Schuberth have their own blue tooth wireless system but has anyone installed another system into a C3 Pro helmet? I'm looking at Sena SMH10 and a UClear for example. Not wanting to invest in the Schuberth wireless system as it is VERY expensive and the other helmet that will be paired...

    Saw a Cognac RTS today

My wife and I went to the dealership today where we have put down a deposit on a Cognac RTS SE6. The one we are getting is due at the dealership in April. However, they had a Cognac RTS SE6 on the floor and it was the first time we had actually seen the colour other than in pictures. We were...

Compatability question about Sena SMH10 with older Nolan helmets

I have decided that the Sena SMH 10 headset is the way I want to go for our Spyder (when it arrives). My only concern is that the SMH 10 units are a little bulky. We have older Nolan modular helmets which are still in good condition. Mine is an N 102 and my wife's is an N 100 Classic. Does...
