• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Is Spyderpops still a Sponsor? If not, anyone know why?

It would appear that Spyderpops is no longer a site sponsor. Granted, I just noticed that today, so I reckon it was sometime in the past. Anybody no why? Or would that be privileged information? Just curious.

Anyone else ever noticed how many really overweight guys ride Harleys?

Has anyone else ever noticed how many really overweight guys ride Harleys? As opposed to Spyders, which in 10 years of riding a Spyder I have noticed only a really small number of the same. Inquiring minds want to know.

Stranded! Spyder loses power, stops, & won't start. Any ideas?

Out running errands today, beautiful day, Spyder purring right along. After my third stop, I was pulling out of the parking lot and the engine started to stumble and lose power. Then it seemed to catch so I went on my merry way to Costco for gas. Turned into the parking lot and the bike died. I...

    Wow! Wicked fast internet

I just dumped AT&T "Fiber" for Google Fiber. I cant believe the difference. AT&T "Fiber" in my neighborhood is fiber optic to a node that is a block away, then copper wire the rest of the way. It was just "OK" as long as there were not too many devices on my wireless network at the same time, we...

Does Anyone Know How to delete Audio presets & set my own?

A question: Does anyone know how to delete audio presets on a 2017 RTS? Or am I stuck with what is already set? Now that I am back home in Texas, I want to delete presets from Connecticut. Any help is appreciated.

Frustrated!! Limp Home Mode & EC warning, Spyder at the dealers!

On the way home from the dentist this morning, stopped to get a bagel. Came out to start the Spyder, it cranked for far longer than normal before starting. Then, the dreaded LIMP HOME MODE pops up, along with a small green window that said "EC". Got it towed to the dealer, service writer said...

Wondering why pictures get posted sideways?

Is there a reason why so many pictures posted by members in discussion threads are sideways? It is difficult at best to view said pictures. Is this a mistake on the part of the poster attaching pictures, or is it an inherent flaw of the website? Inquiring minds want to know. Well, at least I do.

A question - what's the best way to lubricate all the cables?

What is the best/easiest way to lubricate the frunk, seat, top case, & saddlebag cables? Would 3-in-1 oil work, or would another lubricant be a better choice?

A question - does your pillion feel crowded by the riders backrest?

For those of you who use a rider's backrest - on an RT specifically - does your spouse/significant other feel crowded by it? I'm considering getting one, but the wife has concerns about her comfort and ability to mount/dismount. I know that most if not all of them fold down for just that reason...

Anybody Know what this pin plug might be for?

What this pin plug might be for? It is on the right side (brake pedal side) right at the seam and to the rear of the gas tank. 2017 RTS https://photos.google.com/photo/AF1QipObdz5Bdi3tbWHSIPmCHM4rSOLlfoRkbAuZr_c

Email from BRP about Horsepower for Ski-Doos - why not Spyders too?

Not the whole thing, just an excerpt about horsepower, and it makes me wonder why the Spyder lineup doesn't get it, or at least some of it. I mean you can kill yourself jus as dead on a Ski Doo as you can on a Spyder. With the introduction of the Rotax 850 E-TEC Turbo R with Water Injection...

    A Note For Peter Aawen

Peter, I was wondering if there is any way that pictures posted by forum members can be enlarged by modifying something in the way that they are uploaded. Admittedly, I have no idea if/how this could be done. I find that the pictures, particularly ones such as a bulletin from BRP or something...

    Is It Just Me?

Or does it seem that the number of folks posting and asking for advice that do not include the year and model of their Spyder is increasing? One would think that this would be a no brainer, yet even with reminders from members and admins, I frequently see new posts where the OP does just that...

Where are the Customer ACC Circuits? If any on 2017 RTS?

If there are any customer accessory circuits on a 2017 RTS? And if so, where might I find it/them? A search here did not reveal anything, but I may not have used the correct search terms. Thanks.
