• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2008 Backfire and front plug fouling

About a year ago my dealer replaced the evap canister to deal with excessive backfire. Had Leo Vince pipeinstalled for several years with no problem. Backfire continued at a lesser level so I switched back to the stock muffler. Recently, bike began to run so rough that it was not rideable...

    2008 Electrical Blackout

Went for a ride the other day and turned off the Spyder to open the garage door. When I turned the key and pressed the starter button, the instrument cluster went blank and nothing would work except my GPS (direct connection to the battery) what should I check first?

    PIAA Cross Country HID Install

I really like the idea of a small, self-contained HID and PIAA made one-the Cross Country. I already have MM upgrade on the headlights as well as the standard BPP foglight kit. Stuart Ostroff and I fabricated a simple set of mounts from aluminum stock and mounted the PIAAs to the mirror stems...

Talk About Strange bedfellows- Size Matters

Well my wife's Smart Car and my Spyder share a garage and we have room left over. Talk about causing a stir, we can't go anywhere on or in anything we drive without drawing a crowd! (We love it though) The Smart is 1" longer and 1" wider than the SpYder. They cost almost, exactly the same...

    Another Passenger Footpeg Idea

I bought/fabricated a set of road peg brackets to provide an alternate position for my feet on long trips. I mounted Longhorn Offset Dually pegs. When I installed them, it looked like a simple adapter (fabricated) on the rear peg would allow me to use the same peg set to move the passenger foot...

    Spyder Fuel Cell Mod

Stuart Ostroff is heading out to the "Very Boaring Rally" in Duluth, MN. I took these pictures of his 3 gallon fuel cell mod and thought the group would be interested. (He's too busy to post right now) The cell is mounted behind a Pelican case that's mounted to a removable rack fabrication...

    Installed Micron Carbon Fibre Exhaust

Replaced my stock muffler at 6,000 miles with NoMagic Micron Carbon Fibre and 90 degree pipe. Looks and sounds great. Easy install. Replaced gasket but the old one looked good. Attached picture shows the installed can. Talked to NoMagic about the discoloration at the front of the muffler. He...
