• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Well, I did it

I went to Spyderquest this year and the weather sucked. The best weather was while I was in Mo. The whole trip from Wa. state was a little over 5k miles so I decided if I ever attend again and I have to go at that time of year I will become a trailer king. So I got me a new trailer (that I have...

    Alignment

This might have been answered before but i'm old and have had a nap so I can't find if it exists. So, my question is if I put new tires on my front end do I need to get another laser alignment. I have stock tires on there now with almost 21K miles on them and they are cupping. Thanks in advance.

Just got home from Spyders in the Redwoods

What a fun trip. Met some new friends and saw some old friends. Had a great ride thru the big trees. The :spyder2: perform perfect and I just had the recall done a few days before the event. I took Ca 96 part of the way to get there and I think that road would put the "tail of the dragon" to...

    Recall BRP Wind Deflectors

As of now I am picking up my 2013 RTL on Thursday. I think I read someplace on here that BRP gives a rebate on the wind deflectors since they are removed with the recall. Is this true and does anyone know how much it is. Thx, Dave

    SITR with or without Spyder

Am planning on going to the SITR but my 2013 RTL is in the shop for the recall. They are not sure if they can get it done by next week or so and I was planning to leave on the 13th. Am/was going to do 2 different runs back to back. If I don't get it back I will cancel the 1st run but am still...

    Hitch carrier thoughts

I just returned from Spyderfest and instead of towing a trailer on my 3 1/2 week trip (over 5225 miles) I used my hitch carrier. It worked fine except the bolts to keep it from bouncing did not work but bungies helped. The biggest problem was loading and unloading the carrier every day and...

    Question on Brake Bleeding

How improtant is it to do brake bleeding on a 2013 RTL? Not to 14k miles yet but after Spyderfest I will be there and a little more. If I wait and have it done when they do the recall (whenever and whatever that is) i'm thinking I can save some money Any other thoughts?

    14k maint

Stopped by the dealer today to get a price on the 14k maint.....WOW somewhere between $700 and $1300 depending if I want them to check the valves. So, I climbed on a 2014 RTL and took it for a short ride.....that was a mistake...now I want one but can't afford it...oh well guess i'll just wait...

    New Hitch Carrier

I found and installed a hitch carrier, I want to thank everyone for their input it was very helpful. Since I don't want to drag my trailer 2500 miles (or so) 1 way to Spyderfest I will probably be using the carrier. I plan on only having clothes on it and keeping the weight light. More good news...

    Mirror trying to fall off

I was just cleaning my 2013 RT Limited for a parade on Sunday and noticed my left side mirror is trying to fall off. The "keeper", that faces the front, spring seems to have lost it's tension. I called and was told if you put a 2014 "keeper" in place of the old one that it works a lot better. I...

Installing cat-delete plus JT's air cleaner

Yesterday it only took my friend and I about 7 hours to install a cat-delete and the air cleaner. Some of that time as taken up for dinner and we work slow. The cat job was easy and pretty fast to acomplish. But the air cleaner is a whole different story. The actual install of the air cleaner is...
