• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    DIY Mud Flap

I made a DIY mud flap for my 2013 RT-L. I saw a photo of one for a Harley, and made a pattern close to what I saw, and that I thought would fit the RT. I ordered a 3/16" x 12" x 12" piece of rubber ($10.89 shipped), cut it out, and bolted it to the lower plastic piece, using flat washers inside...

    Hot Foot Heat Deflector

I did the heat recall on my 2013 RT Ltd. and that really helped for what it was supposed to do, but I still got a hot right foot from the fan exhaust. I know many have probably done some kind of modification for that, but I decided to try something on my on. I found an old white tote lid of...

OK, another oil question ... and it's NOT what's the best oil. The manual says you can use oils other than the BRP-XPS oil if they are rated as API SL, SJ, SH and SG specification oils. However, I can't find any 5w-40 oil with those API ratings without also having the SM rating included (Like...

    A Bad Day

Bad Day There I was, sitting at the bar staring at my drink when a large, trouble-making biker steps up next to me, grabs my drink and gulps it down in one swig. "Well, whatcha' gonna do about it?" he says menacingly, as I burst into tears. "Come on, man," the biker says...

    After the MC recall service...

I had my MC recall service done yesterday, no damage was found. I had no other complaints, so I was in and out in an hour. Later last night, I went back to the garage and I smelled something weird. I worried at first that it might be gasoline, but it wasn't gas. I can't really describe the...
