• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    A Big Thank-You

I broke down in Fort Worth, TX and my wife and I owe our gratitude to two entities. The first is Dennis McNulty, still listed on Spyders to the Rescue even though he no longer has a Spyder. I reached out to him and got a call back within 15 minutes. He pointed me to Cowtown...

Help/Advice, DPS code in Midlothian, TX

Left a friends home in Midlothian, TX, getting an intermittent DPS (power steering) fault that throws the Spyder into Limp Mode, making travel impossible. Friends came and got us as they have a large trailer. Got a recommendation of a local dealer from someone on Spyderlovers. Looking for a...

Help from the Spyder collective consciousness please

I have been wanting to do something for a while, but I have not had the time to research it. Hopefully one of my fellow Spyder riders has already figured it out and is willing to share their wisdom. I want to stream Pandora or similar music service while riding. My wife and I have a set of...

    Can't find a schematic for part #219800246

Hi Folks, Even though BRP replaced my cracked fender brackets under warranty last time they are saying No to another replacement at this time. It is a little frustrating that a body part that you would expect to last the service life of the vehicle is not covered, but so be it. I am trying...

My Rear Fender Brackets are Cracking --- AGAIN

I had my rear fender brackets replaced under warranty some time ago. I quit keeping an eye on them as the replacements seemed like they were a reinforced version of the originals and were unlikely to crack again. I was checking the rear tire pressure a few days ago when I noticed that they...

    My Radiator Broke

When I returned from the Maggie Valley Owners Event it was time for my 24k mile service. When I turned the drain bolt to remove it from the radiator it came off in my hand. :yikes: I was shocked to say the least. I had not applied any serious force at all :dontknow:. The entire threads just...

    Is it just me?

I have been monitoring or participating in this forum almost since it's beginning. I do not remember anybody posting about replacing front end components. When I did my 12k mile service, I discovered play in a ball joint and in a control arm bushing. Both of those were replaced. One was...

    Before and After

Those of you that know me, know that I have been pulling my trailer with my Spyder since before the first Spyders in the Smokies rally. I have always wanted to get it painted to match the Spyder better, but it never quite fit into the budget. I finally saw an add on Craigs List from a painter...

My Turn To Have Power Steering Problems

The three core ryders for the Gulf Coast Spyder Ryders (myself, wbbrn1952 and Capt. John) went for a little outing yesterday. I know us southern folks aren't supposed to ride when it's in the 30's but we are trying to break stereotypes. I was the warmest of the bunch as I used to live in VA...
