• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Electric Park Brake problem

A search showed no results. My park brake is being finnicky. It won't react with a single push of the button - multiple attempts are required. I am worried it will stay on sometime and not release at all. I suspect e relay. What do you guys think? Can someone tell me which relay it would be? A...

    Summer trip Colorado

Would like some info on Colorado. My group that I do my Summer vacation trips with are thinking of touring Colorado this summer. We would like to set up a base camp concept, we usually tent it and would like to set up where there are showers and laundry facilities and 110 volt sites. We would do...

    Cracked Header pipe

Any one had one yet on an RT? I took mine in for it's first service 2 days ago. As I pulled in to my dealers lot, the salesman was there unloading some quads, he came over to me & said "did you put a different pipe on or something?. It seems to have a bit of a growl". I told him no. When I...

    ESI Service

Just want to send out an 'attaboy' to Evan & the Goodfolks @ ESI for the great service & delivery.:firstplace: I ordered Dayrunners for my GS & RT on Monday April 5th and the UPS guy just dropped them off today in little ole Didsbury, Alberta, Canada. All I had to pay him was $13.59...

I will ask for the PE number and get back to you. There is no rush still ice in my back alley & lots of road salt &...

    PE Done?

I don't see the promotion for the PE RT-S on BRP sites anymore. Does anyone know if they met their quota - if they knew what that was??? I was just going to check on the promotion to see what it said about the cover that comes with the PE RT-S. I believe they said you had up to the end of...

    ist Batch SE or SM

1st Batch SE or SM Any idea yet on the theory that they were building SE5 first then SM5 or vice versa. Not very many are mentioning if they have the SE5 or the SM5 on the new RT's. Not that it matters much as I don't expect my RT-S SE5 until at least the end of January, This is the frozen...

    Weight of the trailer

Has anyone seen any info on the weight of the trailer. I have heard 250lbs empty with a total of up to 400 loaded. 250 empty seems a bit heavy for a non tent trailer type.

    DPS Update and reset questions

Let me start off by saying mine is a 2008 RS SM5. I took it in Aug 04 2009 for its 20,000 Kilometer (12,500 miles)check up. They did all that and did the DPS Recall with software updates etc.. The bike ran good for a while & was getting good fuel economy. There were also some starting issues...

    Troubling getting tank full

Did a search but didn't really find anything on this. I have had my Spyder for over a year and was able to get the fuel tank totally full and have the fuel gauge reading right to the little pyramid dot at the top. Now I can't get the tank full no matter how slow I fill it and cannot get the top...

Couple of things about riser install

I did the 1" riser install today. First thing I want to mention is that the 6 bolts that hold the steering cover on require 2 different sockets. The top most 4 use an 8mm socket and the bottom 2 use a 10mm socket. The bottom 2 are hard to see and hard to get at and you cannot see that they are...

    Givi Keyed alike

I just wanted to let you know that you can buy a pack of 3 locks keyed a-like with 6 keys from Givi. They cost me $40.37 cdn from my dealer. This way I only have to carry one key for my V46 trunk and V35 side bags and I have 5 spares. The replacement is pretty simple just 2 screws on each lock...

    New Member Intro

Hi New to the board so I thought I would introduce myself. My nick is Babymoose. I live in Fort McMurray, Alberta, Canada. I don't own a Spyder yet just ordered it last week.
