• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Reverse gear actuator part number

Greetings! Does anyone out there have a good part number for the reverse gear actuator on a 2014 RT Limited? I tore it up accidentally backing over a tree stump in my yard. I've tried to rebuild it, but it still won't engage with the motor/gear assembly inside the actuator itself. The...

Any DIY owners in Whidbey Island area?

I recently moved to Whidbey Island and am in need of a new rear tire. I prefer to purchase a Michelin and have it mounted, but the nearest dealership wants to charge me $250 for labor. So I'm looking for someone who does this kind of thing on the side that lives in the area. I'm willing to pay...

Laser Alignment & BajaRon Swaybar Good to Go!

Thanks to DocRiverside and his array of tools, jigs, lifts carts, and laser alignment system, we were able to replace the OEM sway bar, change the oil, adjust the drive belt tension & position and perform a laser alignment. I must say, the drive belt alignment is not for the faint-hearted - at...

    Intercom - CB kit

So my wife and I already have the Edsets that we purchased for the Harley intercom system and really like the quality of sound they produce. I have priced the intercom/cb kit for the Spyder (cough, sputter), but am still considering getting one. However, I would really like to see and hear one...

Any North Florida riders have the intercom/cb installed?

Before plunking down more than $800 for the intercom/cb kit, I would really like to see/hear it on a Spyder first. So, if anyone in the north/northeast area of Jacksonville has this system, I would be grateful for a "sneak-peek". Thanks!

And a 'nother one joins the crowd

Yup, after having a brief hiatus from the :spyder2: community, we have once again entered the fold - this time with a 2014 RT Ltd. I wanted the Cognac, she wanted red. She didn't like the Cognac, I couldn't afford the 2015 red. So, we do what all married couples do if they want to continue...

Sealboards on an RS - how do they fit & function?

I am posting outside the RS "box" because I know several of you have owned more than one variant of the Spyder. My wife does not feel safe with the stock RS peg/foot-brake configuration, but loves the feel of the new ST with the floorboard setup it has. The sealboards are the closest I've been...

Rear fusebox accessory plug.....where did it go?

I am about to rewire my wife's 2012 RS LED ground effects and found a promising source at the rear fusebox. There is an open accessory (40a) socket with fuse, but there is no connector/harness that I can find that plugs into it. My questions are; 1) Is the harness & connector stowed somewhere...

    I Done went and Diddit

Well I finally managed to find a Spyder that fit my requirement of being affordable and under or eligible for a warranty, and my wife's requirement of an accceptable "cuteness" factor! I had actually found a private seller with a 2012 RS- SE5, but while I was waiting for him to transfer the...

Prospective Spyder owner - Any Reputable Extended Warranties?

Greetings everyone, Welcome back home to those of you who appear to be just returning from a Spyder rally. I hope everyone had fun & made it home safely. I am buying a used Spyder for my wife, and have found a few very nice, low-mileage RS-SE5's and RSS models in our price range. However, most...
