• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

New issue with Spyder ST... Belt guard issues.

Maybe I've been out of the loop, but now there is a known issue with the belt guard vibrating loose? This is the first I am hearing of this. I only had my Spyder back from the 'melted master cylinder' repair for two weeks and on my first time out I heard a horrible noise as soon as I started to...

    What's up with the speedometer?

I'm not sure why Can-am would design a speedometer that goes to 200mph, but I think it is rediculous. The needle barely moves, good thing there is a digital display. I don't know what the top speed of a Spyder is, but I doubt very many have hit 100mph. Any idea what the point of a 200mph...

Are the 2012 and 2013 rs ergonomically the same?

For some reason I thought I read that the 2013 rs has a more comfortable seating position. Am I wrong? I rode an STS today and it was very comfortable. They also had an RS there, but I forgot to ask if it was a 2013, it was not nearly as comfortable to me.

    Sooo tempted

I had planned on buying my first Spyder early next year when the '13s are available, however I am very tempted to pick up a 2012 and save a few $$. Someone talk me out of it!!! I have been on this forum everyday and watching the same YouTube video over and over... I think I am a little Spyder...

Is the 2013 RS-S worth the extra money?

The 2013 RS already has an upgraded suspension and 15" rims, so is the RS-S premium price justified for mostly cosmetic upgrades? Are the fox shocks that big of an improvement over the new stock shocks? Am I missing something?

Tell me why you love your RS/GS...

I am purchasing my first Spyder early next year and have always wanted an RSS, however with the addition of the ST models to the lineup, it makes me question which would be better suited for me. It seems as though many spyder owners start on the RS but eventually move up to an RT, or modify...

    Wait for 2013?

I am considering purchasing an RS soon, however it seems like the upgrades on the suspension/ chassis are significant for 2013. Would it be a good idea to wait for the 2013's to come in?
