• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What did you do to your spyder today?

Thought this was a good question to see what everyone is dong to their ride before the big riding season? I changed my fluids and some simple maintenance to my ride.

    Race Tech shocks

Ok, I was very high on owning Penske shocks until I met The Race Tech G3-S shocks. Night and day difference ! These shocks gobble up the road and allows for better turning. The Penske were good, but these are so much better, they kinda lull you to sleep on the road being they are so smooth...

    Spyder fastening points

Hey everyone, hope all are having as much fun with the Spyder as I am. I have camped 12 times this year with the toy hauler and Spyder. Riding the mountain roads has been soooo much fun. My question: When people transport their Spyders, does anyone ever use the sway bar as a place to hook to...

    Stuck in the mountains

Went for what I thought was going to be a well deserved day off. Have not ridden for 3 weeks. Took the Ortega Hwy to almost the top then within seconds, I have no antifreeze and the engine is in limp mode and overheated. All the fluid came out of the seam the picture shows. Not sure if a clamp...

    Belt Pulley

My front pulley bolt fell out and stripped all the gears making the belt to fall off as well....ruined a good ride. Had to trailer it home. 6 hours of towing and dealing with the mess and 2 hours of riding. Lesson: Make sure you tighten and inspect that bolt.

    Seems so hard

Seems so hard to look or talk about mods and all the things that we think we need to complete our Spyder ride. Feels hard because I have the news on TV in the background and am watching the complete devastation and lives lost that is going on in Haiti. I know I am are fortunate, but that fortune...

    update complete

Had it done and seems to run for efficiently. I want to hold judgement being I only have 100 miles so far. I do still have backfiring on deceleration. I have all new exhaust gaskets and have a Leo Vince with about 10-15k. Someone told me I need my baffle repacked on the exhaust. Is this a...

    BRP call

Got a call from BRP regarding the sputtering and backfires from the update. They acknowledge this problem and said an update is coming in the very near future to our dealers to make things right. saw the RT today

I know everyone here is all googly eyed over the new RT, but overall, I am not overly impressed for the money IMHO. The seat for me was way too far forward and thought the front storage was way to narrow, although deeper. I thought the best benefit was for the passenger which was nice and cushy...
