• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Passenger comfort on latest RT models versus 2016 RTS

I have my second Spyder RTS (2016) and have a little over 20k miles on it. Wife is 5’6” and complained of pain in the knees due to foot position and kidneys from backrest after a few hours. Could not get footrests low enough so put on the canamspyder accessories kit they use for raising...

    Slight "surging" feeling

I have a 2012 RTS and sometimes while going down fairly level highways I get the feeling of the bike surging a little. I have a cramp buster on the throttle and know I am holding it steady. Anyone else experience this? I crank the throttle and the feeling goes away. Usually occurs around...

While we are excited to go, we are also unable to be there on day 1 due to arrangements we need to make for our school aged children. It got us to thinking, how many people going to Spyderfest have...

    Crack in the tupperware

I was cleaning up the spyder for what I hope is its short winter nap and I noticed a crack in the tupperware right behind where the passenger's right heel would be. . I suspect an inadvertent kick by the passenger and I am wondering what I should do. It isn't noticeable enough to have to...

New Spyder owner having buyers remorse

New Spyder Owner -buyer's remorse Hello all. I have ridden motorcycles for some time and decided to get something that my wife and I could both ride. We did a lot of research on the Spyders and last Friday bought a 2012 RT-S SE5. It's a beautiful machine and we were so excited. It's a blue one...
