• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Hidden Surcharges shouldn't be allowed!

Here is my rant. Sue and I ate a late breakfast at a very popular fast food chain this morning. Sue ordered the number 5 with black coffee, I ordered 2 burritos and a milk. This rant has to do with her meal cost. It was priced $9.99. After ordering, I looked at the receipt while we were...

I have 2 tips for RTL Spyder owners, model years 2020 to 2023. Tip #1: If you want to keep the windshield up (to clean for example), hold the UP button for 3 seconds after shutting Spyder off with the key. Tip #2: On the entertainment side (radio, Bluetooth), to see more info displayed, press...

Learned how to keep windshield up after shutdown.

I know this has been discussed before but I had to verify. If you like to have your windshield stay up at your desired height when you shut off bike, all you do is turn key to off and then hold the up button for the windshield for a couple of seconds. Windshield will stay up. This is for 2020...

Is this a New procedure for Belt Alignment on 2021 RT's?

I was going through the manual, and I came upon the section for belt alignment. It looks like the procedure has changed since my old 2011. If I am reading it right, it states to go by the front sprocket and not the rear sprocket. Thought I would put it out there. Bruce

Is there an Acc mode to play radio when 2020+ Models are shut down?

I was wondering if there is an accessory mode to keep playing radio after shutting Spyder down. On the 2011 you held the mode switch down after shutting Spyder off. Then radio would play. Was not able to find any info in manual. Bruce

I tried to get 100,000 miles, I did not succeed...

My 2011 RTS SM5 I am saying good by to on Saturday. She will be missed. She has 96,000 miles. She was a good running Spyder and it still is. I decided I did not want to spend $2,000 on a DPS repair. My dealer had just taken in a 2021 RT, LTD in asphalt gray with chrome on a trade. Shopped...

DPS finally Died - maybe I'll get a new Spyder!

On my 2011 Spyder with 96,000 miles the DPS finally died today. It still drove ok, but cornering at slow speeds it was a lot harder. Codes are P0551 and P0552. The codes state I have a shorted circuit and an open circuit. Possible fixes, replace DPS. It looks like the part has been...
