• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hopefully I can convince the wife that cutting fire wood can wait so we can ride. Supposed to be in the middle to upper 70's!

    Season Finale!

We're having work done on the shop this weekend, our nephews are framing an upstairs playroom for us, so the Spyders had to stay outside last night. We had our first dusting of snow so they have a nice white coating this morning, no big deal. To my surprise, as I headed to work, the roads have...

    An unsolicited call from BRP...

...At least not directly solicited. A BRP Customer Service representative called me on Wednesday to discuss the problem I'm having with my 2013 ST Limited (Chattering when taking off in forward and reverse). I was shocked! It turned out to be a very good discussion and I learned a few things. I...

    RT Handlebars on ST Limited

I want to bring the handlebars on my ST-L closer to me and raise them slightly. Studying the two side by side, it looks like the RT bars will fit the bill. I have looked at most of the part numbers involved on the BRP parts site and I think all I'll have to buy is the handlebar and each side...

    Chatter noise when taking off...

I'm hearing a chattering/ratcheting noise a when taking off. It's happening in both 1st and reverse gears and sounds like it's on the right side around the area of the floor boards. I brought it to the shop and they said they couldn't duplicate it so I duplicated it for them. They've had some...

    Song Title Game

Anyone interested in trying a song title game for a little off topic fun. It doesn't look like it's been done on here by my search. Simple rules... I start with a song like "Born to be Wild - Steppenwolf", the next poster has to post a song title that has one of the words from the previous...

Admin, may I change my forum name? I don't ryde an RT-S...

Well my wife has had her RT-S for almost a year now and loves it. She's let me ride it a couple of times. I've been considering trading in my ride but the RT and RS didn't do it for me. To make a long story short, there is a brand new ST Limited sitting in our garage with my name on it! So...

    Our first road trip

Should be happening this weekend :) Heading west through New Hampshire, Vermont, and maybe around Lake Champlain and back. Should be fun, maybe visit a cousin or two over that way. Oh... maybe we can hit route 17 up and over the mountain on the New York/Vermont line...

    New to the forum

Hello everyone, we're new to the Spyderhood, well not we, my wife just traded her 09 Sportster for a 12 RT-S and she loves it. Me? I'm still on two wheels, not ready to graduate quite yet. We live in Maine and don't get out of our corner of the states for riding very often but I think the RT-S...
