• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

1330cc Sounds like a fan cycling on and off

My 2015 CanAm Spyder RT SE6 Limited is making, what I think, is a strange noise. During a short 50 mile ride on a fairly warm day, when I stop at a light, it sounds like a fan is cycling on and off at very short intervals. It does not sound like a fan at full speed. I have approximately 22000...

    Fog light

On a 2015 RT Limited, does anyone have any tricks on replacing the left fog light bulb? Update on replacing the left fog light. Thanks to two of my Spyder friends, we were able to get the job done by removing the frunk area. It was a lot easier, but still a pain in the butt. We were able to...

While at the Homecoming Event in Valcourt, Ca. I had the fortune to talk with BRP tech services people about finding a replacement seal for the wheel bearings on my 622 trailer. At first he did not understand why I could not find the part number, after he searched the Can Am manual, he...

    Canada trip

I went to see my insurance agent yesterday and we got talking about going to Canada. He ask if I had my temporary Canadian proof of insurance form. What's that? It's a form that your insurance company gives you to show when crossing into Canada. It lists approximate travel dates and that you...

I have a 2015 RT Limited with 7000+ miles. On a trip to South Carolina I noticed the front tires were worn more than me friends RT Limited with the same mileage. We went to a Spyder rally in Landrum, SC and have the alignment checked. It was found to be way out and was reset. After returning...

    Braking

I have a 2015 RT Limited with about 6200 miles on her. The other day, while traveling on secondary roads, I had to apply the brakes harder than normal but not as hard as a panic stop. The bike dove and pulled hard to the right. It has not done this again. A friend had the same think, with...

    Return from Spyderfest

Just got home and logged 1973 miles on the trip. Had a great time and sent too much money (lol). Met a lot of really nice people and would like to give a special shout out to the two couples from Omaha. I hope we can get together soon.

    Spyderfest ready

Just brought the Spyder home from its 14000 mile check up, plus new tires and brakes. Had it laser aligned earlier and now it rides better than a new Spyder. April cannot come soon enough.

    Morrow Mountain

For all who like riding to Morrow Mountain, it is now open. We took our New Years Day ride and found the road up the mountain open. It is worth riding there to see the devastation left by last years storm.

    Laser Alignment

An hour ride home after having our Spyder laser aligned by Rolo. It was like riding a whole different bike. If anyone is pondering the pros and cons of having it done, you will not be sorry. Kristal and Mike are great people and their system makes perfect sense. I think this is the best...

    Strange Discussion

We met a person today with a 2012 RT SE5 Limited that he purchased from a non BRP dealer as a used bike with about 80 miles on it. He has had it for less than a year, and had to replace the clutch because he was shifting it way to early. I do not know who replaced the clutch but they told him...
