• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Go Pro

I have the 7 silver and use a JT dash mount with a ram mount ball. I considered mounting to my helmet but I look around a lot and thought that may not be the best. I haven't used it at normal travel speeds yet so I haven't been able to see if vibration will be an issue.

    Another 998 oil consumption question

BajaRon, other than idling at a stop I typically keep my Spyder at 4500 rpm for cruising and typically shift a little over 6000 when getting up to speed.

    Another 998 oil consumption question

I haven't checked the air box yet but I do check my oil after I ride and in the garage where it's on a level surface.

    Another 998 oil consumption question

I'm definitely not under warranty. It just seems a bit concerning. I filled it with oil, rode probably about 300 miles and my level is near having to add another half qt. Unfortunately I have quite a bit invested in this machine so I can't justify selling or trading to get a newer model. I guess...

    Another 998 oil consumption question

I have a 2013 RT-S that seems to use an excessive amount of oil. I have searched the forum and it appears the 998 has an oil consumption habit, but then I saw people were adding half a qt between oil changes. I'm adding half a qt every few hundred miles. One post said consumption is higher if...

    Bajaron Sway bar

I noticed a huge improvement in handling on my 2013 RT-S after installing the BajaRon. I will say, however, my bike still felt like it needed some improving. I found after some research that apparently the 2013 RT has some of the worst suspension. Not adjustable like previous years and smaller...

For Those Ryding with an iPhone -- A Few Questions, Please

Hi Bert. My GF uses an iPhone on her Spyder and uses Google maps and Waze for GPS duties, both free apps and Google owns Waze. The glare just depends on the angle of light hitting your screen. I use a ram mount and adjust the angle of my phone if needed. Research I have done in the past...

The “2019 Where Did You Ride Today” Thread

We rode in the Snake Saturday parade in North Kansas City today. Sixteen Spyders from the Kansas City Spyder Ryders showed up to represent. It was a good time. It was a bit chilly riding in this morning though with temps in the high mid 20's.

Bob, what does the Spyder adapter look like for the pitbull lift? I was looking at their site but didn't see one.

    Battery access panel

Easy Rider when I open the frunk I can see my battery. I want to close it off so I don't have anything sitting against it when I load my duffle bag in there. Thank you very much. I will definitely check out cheap cycle parts and thank you for the part number.

    Battery access panel

Good morning fellow ryders. I have a 2013 RT that I bought used. It did not have the zip in frunk liner with it which doesn't really bother me, but I am also missing the battery access panel. Does anyone happen to know the part number of this panel or where to purchase one cheaper than at a dealer?

    Bajaron Sway bar

I just received my BajaRon sway bar. Now I need a lift so I can get this thing installed. I am definitely hoping for a night and day difference like I have heard many say. My Spyder feels very sloppy in the curves and crosswinds.
