• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Real Bike?

Fortunately I have never experienced this, and I ride my Spyder to the same rallies that I used to attend on my Harleys and Indians. Not sure what my comeback would be....."Jerk Store" maybe?

    UTAH RT.12

our 1st stop was the SKIP BARBER MUSEUM in Birmingham, AL... gr8 take, every biker should do it... one suggestion to them; GET A SPYDER in there. Hmmmm, when I was at the Barber Museum in January there was a Spyder there, I believe it was an '08 GS. May have been on loan. It was near the old...

    Proper Tire Pressure???

Isn't air around 80% nitrogen anyway?

Would you be interested in a tiliting trike?

Harley actually had a prototype for a leaning trike called the Penster, about the time BRP started producing Spyders. Don't know whatever happened to it, but it looked like a blast to me. And yes I would love a leaning Spyder. Seems like the RS would be more suited to leaning, than an ST or RT...

    Please Help Me

I don't see where he wants out, just wants out of the shop. 62 days is absurd, he's more patient than most, that's for sure. I think the offer of a newer bike is very fair, but as yet it's still just an offer and he's still paying notes on an empty space in the garage. Like most everyone here...

    Spyder Humor

For the record; I'm not sure how the terms moped and scooter became interchangeable but being old enough to remember actual mopeds (had motors and pedals, thus the name), I've always found it a tad irritating. I remember renting mopeds on Oahu, and with what must have been about a 25cc motor...

My new Horsepower decals from Pete at Powersportswraps

While I've seen a lot of Spyder graphics I've liked, your's are the first that I'm tempted to copy. I think those would also work very well on a black RS. Wow, that is really great looking!

I want to thank everyone for their thoughts and input, but...

Not new, a 66 Charger, and I haven't taken possession of it yet. Pics will be posted as promised in another thread, not trying to hijack this one.

I want to thank everyone for their thoughts and input, but...

Nice, I like Sportsters and I'm getting a two wheel itch, mind you my Spyder's not going anywhere I'd just like it to have some company (of course the better half will say "I thought the Charger was supposed to be it's company"....women). I've always liked the old XLCR models, but they're hard...

I love the Challengers also, old and new.

    Spyder Diversion

That's one of the reasons I've always liked the 66, plus it was the only year with the console that extended all the way through the interior, with 4 bucket seats.

    Spyder Diversion

It's a 318 Poly, Chrysler produced it from 57 to 66 (it's only year in the Charger), it was based on the hemi design but the poly spherical head was cheaper to produce while retaining most of the performance advantage of the hemi. It's not to be confused with the LA 318, which was standard in 67...

    Spyder Diversion

Problem is riding without AC in summer in LA, is about as practical as riding without heat in winter in Michigan. Fortunately there's a company that specializes in non-intrusive classic car AC, even uses the factory heater controls to run it. That, and a stereo that looks like the old AM radio...

    Spyder Diversion

I am in the process of purchasing some company for the RS in the garage. I'm buying a friend's 66 Charger, I've never had a classic car before and I'm anxious for the new challenge (first change will be to add AC, from Classic Car AC). Of course none of this has anything to do with Spyders other...

I did it!!!! FOX SHOCK AND SWAY BAR KIT FOR THE ST-S

Did the same on my RS, with very similar results, first things I recommend to any new owner!

Not everyone can drive a Spyder.

How about "The jerk store called, they want you back"?

The Twisted Sisters aka The Three Sisters

I used to do that ride every year around this time with a group of friends. We'd stay at a campground in Kerrville and when we weren't on the sisters, head to a rally that was held in Fredricksberg or over to Luckenbach. Great times and great roads!
