• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Harder steering after laser alignment

Ok everyone, As the Op, here is what I've done and came to : I drove my buddy's and he drove mine. Almost identical as far as tires we put on, mileage, the way we ride....Blah..Blah.. Blah. So after today's ride and having added air pressure to 22 psi fronts and 24 to the rear the bike runs and...

    Harder steering after laser alignment

SpyderAnn01, thanks for the invite but after the last two trips I'll be home bound catching up for awhile. Irvin48, I had Engelhart align and do the work. I've had faith in their work from previous encounters and I'm sure they will stand behind their work when I call them. As I said in my...

    Harder steering after laser alignment

Hello members, I just had new tires, belt adjustment, laser alignment, tri-axis handlebars done on my 2015 RTS right before I left for Sturgis. I put on 2300 miles and can't say I'm impressed with the handling of the trike now. It seems to go down the road straight on a flat road but takes a lot...

    Seat Cushion Recommendations?

Bushrat, The only thing I'd add to Tango's remarks would be to check out their warranty. While you do have to pay return shipping they almost guarantee you'll be a happy camper if you buy one, and most all of us are. You usually wont find any for sale. safe riding!

    Seat Cushion Recommendations?

Keep the money for a cushion and put it toward a day long custom seat. Over the years I've tried lots of cushions, different seats, always ended up with a Russell Day Long. Now I just get a Day Long as soon as a I get a different bike. Safe Riding!

    Extended Warranties

I was in dealership auto repair business as a tech and manager for 28 plus years. If it wasnt a factory warranty it was trouble for everybody. Dealership management finally quit doing them. We would do repairs, but they had to pay us to get their vehicle back. They would then have to get thei r...

    Upper body strength

I agree with canamjhb, I've owned 2 wheels, conventional trikes, now spyder rts and it will take more arm strength than a 2 wheel in the twisties. I also feel it takes more arm strength than a conventional trike if its been racked properly. I work out playing raquetball and lifting weights a...

Caution - Rivco RT Trunk Rack

IdahoMtnSpyder, I also put this rack on but I'm anal and like you did precheck the template with the rack....holes 1/4 off. I readjusted and install went great. I took it one step further and sent Rivco an email describing the situation and recommended that an accurate template be included. I...

Confused about rear axle nut torque.

Spyder3R, I hear you, sad thing is if you have to go over everything that you asked to have done, just do it yourself and save your money. I'm lucky I can do that as I was a tech for 28 yrs but a lot of people have to trust their dealer which is generally in my case and opinion from warranty...
