• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    fuel gauge

All of you that have taken your stock fuel gauge out and replaced with something else could help him out and send him your stock gauge since you are no longer using it. He may just prefer to keep it stock, but without a loose stop pin rolling around in there. Bill

    New Kind of Farkle

Nice! Very cool. As a point if clarification, the RT model was first introduced in 2010. There were PE's (Premiere Edition), RT, RT A&C (Audio & Convenience), and RTS models introduced in the inaugural year for the new RT lineup. Yes, the Limited model was first introduced in 2011. Bill

    Spyder sighting....

Hi Devl, Sandy and I were in Lewiston on Saturday with our Orbital Blue 2010 RTS and trailer. Took in some of the Timberfest, a boat ride, lunch at Tally's, then back on the road. We saw a couple on a white RT as we were heading into town (they were heading out). Was a great day for a...

Does the President of BRP know about your "serious" Spyder problem(s)

Hi UncleDave, Am curious which model you're considering and what the key issue were that influenced your decision? I do agree in principle with what you're saying. Our collective voice as a Spyder community is incredibly strong and influential... May not seem like it but I'm sure BRP really...

    No CB in rear headset

Another neat feature of the passenger having the remote is that when you have the CB turned off, the PTT buttons (both driver's and passenger's) will engage the intercom function, regardless of the VOX setting. We don't often use it, but there are times when we're in a low speed quiet kind of...

    No CB in rear headset

We have a 2010 RTS with the CB. Rear passenger can talk over CB whenever driver transmits using his PTT. OR, with the accessory PTT cable extension for the rear passenger, they can initiate CB transmission with their own PTT, and they can adjust volume (for both CB and Intercom). See page 67...
