• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Considering an ST-LTD perhaps?

I've certainly considered the F3 but it looks so much like a landmower to me. I'm not saying it's worse than the ST or RT but I think their appearance takes some more getting used to. They're really gorgeous from the side though. I've also heard they are way more expensive than for instance the...

    Considering an ST-LTD perhaps?

Thank you everyone for the feedback. I really appreciate it. Best option for me would be to go for a used Spyder which are scarce here in Belgium to be honest. On the other hand we have the models of previous years who have some nice conditions and discounts here which would probably mean the RT...

    Considering an ST-LTD perhaps?

Thank you everyone for your kind feedback. I love hearing from other Spyder riders since I only have two-wheeled friends who aren't really all that happy when I bring up a Spyder. It's nice to hear the other side of the medal. I love all the suggestions and tips I've been getting so far so if...

    Considering an ST-LTD perhaps?

You guys are so mean for forcing me make this choice for myself. I though the internet was going to do it for me~ ;) In all honesty, I do like the ST-LTD a lot as well else I wouldn't even consider purchasing one. I wouldn't just go for it just because it's cheaper. In the end I don't need an...

    Considering an ST-LTD perhaps?

Hey everyone, As some of you might already know I had my heart set on a 2014 RT with the updated engine because I wanted to save on gas. I know I know...might sound funny on a machine like the Spyder. I figured however that if I bought an ST the difference in price would probably let me buy gas...

Any Changes in the 2015 vs. the 2014?

Curious to know exactly how they differ spec-wise if the price of the 2015 is indeed higher. I'm in the market for a basic RT but not going 2015 if the 2014 is cheaper for the same package... o_O

Has anyone given their Spyder a "Name"???

Well, no Spyder in the garage yet so that one will be named if/when it arrives. Root for me that it will be here soon~ My current motorcycle however is called 'Ghost' and my previous one (which was also my first bike) was named 'Wasabi'.

Looking at going from Goldwing to a Spyder RT

Glad to hear you were wearing all protective gear during the fall. You're a smart person for doing so, I cringe everytime I see someone without protective gear. I hope your injuries heal well and that you'll be up and running in no time. Shame on people for drinking and driving... I hope you...

    Purchasing a used Spyder RT?

Thank you to everyone who gave me some advice on the matter. Unfortunately the 2012 edition was just sold so I was just a tad late. A bit regretful but I'm trying to stay positive. What would you guys and girls do? The 2010 RT-S is still available at € 15.700 and I get one year of guarantee on...

Ladies (or men) on two-wheelers, some help?

Haha, thanks for cheering me up~! I can just imagine you sitting on the back waving while the front seat remains ghostly empty...rofl... Thank you for the feedback. I believe a Spyder will be a good alternative but it's a fight now to decide whether I'll spend some agonizing years saving up...

    Purchasing a used Spyder RT?

Thank you for the feedback so far, I really appreciate it. The RT limited of 2012 would be our safest bet in that case? I know we have one year of warranty on any secondhand Spyder, that would keep us 'safe' I guess for about a year. Not sure if we can purchase additional warranty. I'll be sure...

    Purchasing a used Spyder RT?

Hi everyone, Since I'm a newbie regarding the Spyder in general I'd love to have your feedback on the matter. I've been riding a two-wheeled bike for all my life since it was legal to do so (27 years young now) but due to health issues I'm being forced to search for an alternative. I've done a...

Ladies (or men) on two-wheelers, some help?

Hey everyone, Just a little update on the test drive I managed to do on the Spyder RT 2014. It was alright but I'm not really impressed. I did like not having to put my foot down at traffic lights and the automatic transmission on the 2014 did its job pretty well. I'm dissapointed at the sky...

Ladies (or men) on two-wheelers, some help?

Thank you kindly for the good advice, loisk. I love the words 'flappy paddles', haha~ I work on a computer at work so I guess I'll be more than sure to go for the SE models. If I happen to win the lottery I'm sure to go for the RT model because driver floorboards, heated grips and fog lights...

Ladies (or men) on two-wheelers, some help?

I don't have a checkbook so I think I'm pretty safe. I also don't have a penny to my name at the moment so it's going to hurt to leave that store empty-handed if I do like the Spyder. If I do decide to give this a go I'll have to start saving up but I can hardly save up 400$ a month so it might...

Ladies (or men) on two-wheelers, some help?

Is there another Belgium perhaps? ;) Off course I'm talking about the land of chocolate, beer and french fries. What makes you think I'd have trouble finding one? I know about at least 2 dealers in this country. Granted they're not very close by but around an hour drive and I'm there. Your...

Ladies (or men) on two-wheelers, some help?

Thank you kindly for the feedback so far~! It seems so far I've only gotten wise advice from older experienced riders than myself which makes me feel blessed. I am 'only' 27 spring young so I'm still finding my way in life. I feel fortunate that these diseases are the only I have so far, it...

Ladies (or men) on two-wheelers, some help?

Hey everyone, I apologize for the weird title in advance but it will become clear in just a minute. I currently drive a wonderful BMW F800GT which I worship and adore. I couldn't imagine living without it. Unfortunately my body doesn't agree with me. I've been diagnosed with ME/CFS/Fibromyalgia...

    The search for perfection!

Hello Lordy, Belgium is indeed home to bad weather sometimes, haha~ I have heated grips and side bags on my BMW but no handlebar pockets. I'm also one of those crazy people who commutes through winter on 2-wheeled vehicles, no stopping me. Last winter I made a nasty slip in the snow leaving me...
