• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

When my kids lived up on the Olympic peninsula we came back to Nevada via the coast road. We started in Astoria and only made it to Florence before turning back over to hwy 5. We had to back to work. There was so much to see there it took from 8am until about 7pm JUST to get that far...

    Waterproofing saddlebags

After our ride today I washed the Spyder. I had left my coat in the saddlebag. When I pulled my coat out, it was soaking wet. Is there an easy way to waterproof the side bags? I would hate to be traveling with my stuff, (clothes, etc.) in the bag and get caught in the rain and then find out...

Has anyone given their Spyder a "Name"???

Minnie We were going to name her Pearl, but the last time this thread happened, there seemed to be several "Pearls", so, we just added to it. Minnie Pearl..... (Also doesn't hurt that the wife is an avid Disney fan). So Minnie works several ways... :shemademe_smilie::roflblack:

    February ride

Went on my first ride with the Spyder Ryder of America Mojave Desert Chapter on Saturday. It was a fun ride to Nelson's Landing and then to Boulder City. What a day for a ride! Leaving Boulder City, it was almost 80 degrees. Thanks to ArMihardies, SpyderAnn and Cptjam and all of the others...

    NASCAR 2015

"Danica: Will this be her last year as a driver? We are still looking for those elusive wins and top finishes." She may not win races, but Danica is a marketing and "marketers" dream. She is personable, good looking and draws fans in. She will still be in racing (NASCAR or Indy) for as long...

Waiting for warranty info and welcome kit from BRP

I took delivery of my RT on Nov 15 and had my Best warranty card in the mail on Nov17. In all fairness I had signed the papers on 10-27 and express mailed them to the dealer. No Welcome packet yet though.

    Tool Kit

I am a pack rat and probably the last person that you want to hear from. But here goes. Since the Spyder is primarily an electric device, a good VOM (Volt Ohm Meter) is essential. You can’t begin to diagnose a road problem if you don’t know things like VBat or if there is continuity between the...

    Tool Kit

Here is a question for you more experienced riders. Besides the toolkit that comes with the Spyder, what tools do you recommend carrying with you 1. At all times, and 2. On long trips. If it makes a difference, I have a 2014 RT se6. Thank you, Ken

    Spyder Sightings

Saw a Canadian licensed RT Limited in white on a trailer going south on Hwy 95 by Searchlight NV. Not very many of these in the Searchlight area. Have fun down here. We have warmer weather.

    Warranty question

I took delivery of my RT on 11-15 and I had my Best card in the mail on the 17th. I had signed the papers two weeks earlier though, so it shouldn't take more than a couple of weeks to get your card.
