• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Low Fuel Light

I usually fuel shortly after my light comes on. I've never put more than 4.25 gallons in and that's when the needle has been deep red. I'm usually right about 120 miles when I fuel up my bone stock RTS.

    Fronts Shocks Setting

@cjackg: What's a set of the 2011s run? Install them yourself? I go 220-250# depending on proximity to fitness testing. I feel squishy on the 5 setting of my stock 2010 RTS. Would love to firm things up up front. Thanks for any info.

    door opener faulty wired

I can see wiring it to work when the key is in the ON position without the engine started. It does seem odd to me that you can pop the frunk using the key in the off position. You can pop the frunk with the engine running. I don't quite get the rationale of the button not actuating when key...

North Vegas Spyder sighting Coming home from work I saw a pair of Spyder sports heading towards the 215 on Losee. Happen to be members on here?

    Literally dreaming about Spyders

It wasn't a flying Spyder...it was just on these gargantuan hydraulics. Way weird. This was a Spyder themed dream. No Angelina Jolie, which is OK, because I don't really appreciate her aesthetically. Since I'm in the military, there's no "magic" on board. However, I've been sick and...

    Literally dreaming about Spyders

Just woke up from a weird Spyder dream... ...The new 2012's are out. The rear cargo areas are modular. They remove to leave a sleekish looking tail end like the RS. It wasn't as fast looking as the RS, but gave the RT as sportier look. I'm test driving this at my parents' house (in Ohio)...

    Rear Elka installed on RT

I was telling a friend at work about how my front end feels greasy. He had a great idea. Before running off to purchase a pair of 2011 shocks...go ride one to make sure the desired feel is there. I thought it was a pretty smart way to make sure there is a tangible difference.

Coffee Cup Any Vegas area riders ever chow at the Coffee Cup in Boulder City? GOOD grub. They are only open 0600-1400, and it's a bit of a hike from the Nellis area. Well worth the stop if checking out the Dam or the new bridge. Of course, I'm probably the last person in Vegas to have eaten...

    Cost for 600 mile service

Here's my 600 mile check up. Done at RideNow Rancho in North Las Vegas. 19.98 Oil filter 3.49 copper washer 1.79 copper washer 47.96 4 quarts 4t 12x1 11.99 1 more quart of above (why not just charge for 5?) 149.25 1.5 hours labor ($99/hour...ouch) 20.00 supplies...

    A survey about the Trailer...

Got my survey as well. Trailer is cool and all, but I don't really have a need. Now if they made a pull car I could fit a pair of 10 year olds in, I'd maybe consider spending waaaaay too much for a trailer.

    Differences Between 2010 and 2011 RT-S

Did only the PE RTSs get a cover? I've got a later 2010 RTS and didn't get a cover.

    Rear Elka installed on RT

Same question as George...what are the benes to the Elkas, especially the fronts? I think I'm too big for the stock shocks, even with the preload cranked down. I got 250 unladened. Put an adult pillion and the front just feels squishy. Not sure if I'm too big for the shocks or need the...

    Nice try Tammy.............

She is blonde. If you click on her name, it shows a bio and a pic. I don't think she's natural though. Look on bugmenot.com for eHow.com and you too can log in and comment on her expert write up. :)

    RT rear cargo liner

Here in Vegas, we don't have much a need for heating oil...or snow shovels...so I can dream of extravagant items like a runk liner (laughs).

    RT rear cargo liner

Thanks everyone! Feel kind of dumb for not having found it myself now. Everything shown looks sweet. I can see where some of my tax refund is going now...

    RT rear cargo liner

Anyone know of a cargo liner for the rear cargo space? I'd like a liner with mesh pockets on the sides, somewhere to stash my iPod and such safely. The frunk's got a liner. Any such thing available for the back? Thanks.

    New RTS owner in Vegas

Thanks all for the welcome. @3Ryder...not sure how you got a pic of my bike as your avatar (laughs). I think you've been spotted by a few of my co-workers. Couple gals I work with saw "me" at a grocery in Henderson a couple times. Being I live up near Nellis AFB, they wondered why I'd be...
