• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Missing Zumo Charging cord

Ordered the one from Amazon. ~$6 is not a bad price even if it's wrong. I suspect the cord from my old Nuvi GPS will work if all else fails. Thanks, guys and gals.

    Missing Zumo Charging cord

Just purchased a used 2017 RT LTD. Traded in my 2013 ST LTD. The RT came with the Zumo Garmin GPS but no connector for getting updates from Garmin. Do I go to Garmin and buy the proper cable or is there an alternative?

    Federal Front Tires

Tired of Kenda's price, mileage and poor wear characteristics. Looking for a replacement without changing the dimensions. Anybody have any experience with Federal Formoza AZ01"s. or any other brand? I have a 2013 Spyder ST LTD with 32K miles and I'm, sure there are folks out there with similar...

Shift Points on the 1330 cc engine

Thanks all for your feedback. Sounds like there's not much difference between the two engines in terms of shift rpm ranges. Would think the 1330 engine would operate at a little lower rpm's and we'll see. I know that my Twin shift ppoints rose closer to 5500 rpm as the engine broke in at around...

Shift Points on the 1330 cc engine

I'm about to purchase a 2017 RT LTD with less than 1000 miles on the odo... but before I do that, can anyone enlighten me about the happy rev range and recommended shift point for the 1300 engine? I have owned an an incredible 2013 ST LTD Spyder with a little over 32,000 miles on the odo and it...

Upgrades some things or Upgrade to new model

Own a 2013 ST LTD. Bought it used in 2014 and got all the warranty work done then. So far, no heat problems. Have 31,000 happy miles on it. Most of those miles were 2000 or better trips. It's a comfy bike and with a roll bag on the pillion seat and the Shad top case plus saddle bags that came...

    Stuck in gear... again!

Turns out the first mechanic didn't know what he was doing. The mechanic at the next dealer (Spokane has two Spyder dealers within 25 miles of each other) said the splines were still factory spec and he merely put it back with the bolt sitting in a groove. NOw I worry about reliability. Wonder...

    Stuck in gear... again!

Super picture. I'm not a "wrencher" anymore but your Pic puts me on track to go take a look. Can't be that bad.

    Stuck in gear... again!

Thanks. I am anxious now to run to the storage unit where I keep the Spyder and visually inspect the shifter linkage. If a simple new nut on a longer bolt is an answer, woo-hoo. If on the other hand, the mechanic simply didn't fix it permanently, then back to the shop it goes, only with a little...

    Stuck in gear... again!

Last fall, suddenly my 2013 ST LTD got stuck in 5th gear. Couldn't get into neutral or any other gear. Limped home in 5th but where there was a incline of any kind it was get off and push. Finally got it to the dealer in Spokane (250 miles away-closest dealer) and he claimed to have fixed it. 'A...

    shifting issue

I just had the same problem only I have the paddle shifter. It won't shift out of 5th gear and as a result,,I can't engage the parking brake. Had to unbolt the battery to get the high pitched squeal to stop.

OEM Rear Tire SHOT at 2,500 miles

Go Kumho I got 5000 miles on my 2013 ST-LTD and switched to the exact same size Kumho. I now have ~7000 miles on the Kumho rear and probably will get another 2K. I'm an aggressive rider so I wouldn't put that Kenda crap on the rear. You gotta realize that BRP is French and they don't have a...

    Is there a solution here?

Three is a better option You'll need 3 2x8 ramps if you plan on having the rear wheel in the trailer. Also the longer the better depending on the height of your trail bed. I'm going with 84" planks as I don't want the angle to dig into my undercarriage.

    Antenna removal

Terrible customer engineering In order to mount the BRP top box on an ST-LTD, you have to remount the antenna. In order to do that you've got to remove both saddle bags, saddle bag mounts and about 9 torx screws. Then, if you can locate it (I couldn't) you have to find one more torx screw to...

    F3-S Stock Fox shocks, Adjustable?

How to adjust I had the Fox Adjustable Shocks put on my 2013 ST-LTD. But, the dealer failed to tell me how they are to be adjusted....lost the paperwork that came with the kit. Is there a secret to getting the wheels off the ground and adjusting the shocks?

    Airhawk cushion on ST

Works for Me Buy the medium...unless your butt is waaaayyy big. Sure beats spending close to $1000 for a new seat. For us older guys with no padding left, the Airhawk is the easiest solution.
