• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Need some input of Bluetooth headsets

Dave, I didn't mean your customer service personally but the Sena 'factory' service, lots of complaints about them. I have no doubts abou buying anything from you. I read the same complaints about the Cardo 'factory' service. I apologize if I offended you. Mike

Need some input of Bluetooth headsets

I spoke to Dave and he recommended the Sena 10C or the SMH 10. After doing a lot of searching I have narrowed things down a bit to the Sena SMH 10, the UClear Amp Go or the Cardo Scala Freecom 2. I would love some input on the UClear and the Scala. The big issue I have with the Sena is the...

Need some input of Bluetooth headsets

In looking at prices, to get a general idea, on Amazon, some of the Sena sets like SMH 20's and some others at $240 +/- for a single headset, thus somewhere in the neighborhood of $500 for a pair is where I got my numbers from. Some sets going for $300/per , a little to spendy for me. I don't...

Need some input of Bluetooth headsets

Thanks, I found more info on the 5's which I'll probably get, since we don't usually do group rides and the folks I generally ride with don't use any commo devices. Also since it is just for me and the wife we don't need all the bells and whistles.

Need some input of Bluetooth headsets

I'm looking at various different bluetooth sets primarily for commo from driver to rider and cell phone. I've looked at the Sena SMH 5 set for a reasonable price plus several other Sena knock offs. Each and every one has lots of positives and some negative feedback including the Sena. I'm not...

    WTF

Phil, that's waht happens when you live in state controlled by Dem. progressive's. In Colorado you always take the plates off of whatever you sell that is licensed and the buyer has to go to DMV with the title and Bill of Sale to get temp tags or at least that is how its supposed to work. Sold a...

    Issue with my Seal floorboards

I wouldn't say it doesn't work, I was not happy with the way it fits into the shift arm. If I had to do again, I would still get the Seal boards, but just modify the included shift lever, if you have the capability to do it weld a piece pf 10mm square steel onto it and it gives a much sturdier...

Oil chnage completed & drain valve fitted!

It takes a little fiddlin to get it in right and I had to trim the bottom plastic panel to get it to bolt back on, but I'm convinced it will be much easier to change oil. I'm also going to put one on my Ram 3500. Thanks

Oil chnage completed & drain valve fitted!

There is an O ring on the valve body and the directions saw to turn 1/8 after seating by hand, I had to turn it a little more to get it in the right spot. nothing hangs out below the plastic si I;m not real concerned about it getting knocked off, I'm trying to find a plastic or nylon pug to go...

Oil chnage completed & drain valve fitted!

I just finished changing the oil in my 2012 RS SM5. I changed the oil tank drain to a magnetic type and changed th crankcase to a valve that lets me attach a hose to the valve and then opening it up. The valve is a spring loaded ball valve and is very sturdy. I'll still have to remove the...

Any tips on 2009 RS SM5 DIY Oil Change?

Just finished my 2012 RS SM 5 and according to the dipstick in the oil tank, mine took almost 5 qts of oil. I warmed ot up prior to the oil and filter change and drained close to 5 qts of old oil. Removing the crankcase bolt is a PIA, but once out replace it with a magnetic hex head bolt, do the...

    Brake mod on Seal Floorboard

As far as I can tell, the brake is fully engaged, don't think I could push down any further, but you have given me some food for thought, I might try to raise it another 1/4 - 1/2 " just to make sure. Simple fix, just cut another piece of almunium angle that is 1" insaed of 3/4". Thanks Mike
