• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Lulu's going on a PGR mission today; Erags back in hospital for chemo

Update on Erags Everything going well...I decided not to spend the night during this cycle since the chemo bags are changed out several times during the night. I do NOT do well with sleep deprivation (found that out when I was still involved with call schedules)! Besides, going home gives me...

Lulu's going on a PGR mission today; Erags back in hospital for chemo

We have a PGR mission today but I won't be able to ride my Spyder. :( Ed's going back in the hospital today for Round #5; all the stuff we need to take with us just won't fit into the Spyder. (Sometimes it looks like it won't fit into the MINI)! It looks like we've got rain coming...I can use...

We have much to be thankful for this year

Round #5 starting today...continue your prayers, please. Ed had his outpatient meds to start Round #5 yesterday...he goes back in the hospital today (until Saturday) for the rest of his chemo regimen. We are still waiting to hear whether he's looking at 1 more round after this or 3. He's been...

    Labor cost per hour

Pensacola Motorsports $45/half hour...guess they didn't want to say $90/hour out of fear of sticker shock?! Can't imagine they thought it sounded cheaper to put it that way, though.

Finally got Ed's bike back! 3 days before he goes back for more chemo Finally managed to get Ed's Spyder out of the shop late yesterday afternoon...we rode for about an hour, visited friends (well, I was showing off my RT, actually) and had dinner with our youngest. Boy, is his :spyder2...

    I was outnumbered

...the native Missourians (three) outnumbered me (the sole Ohioan) when four of us got together in Florida for a ride. :spyder2::spyder2::spyder2: and a Goldwing were in our little caravan, with George being the odd man in the group. George and Carol White were visiting from Missouri, traveling...

Thanksgving Day...and we are still waiting. Stopped by the dealer on Wed. after a PGR mission to see what was going on with Ed's Spyder...more new parts were sent by BRP. The mechanics were working on the bike when we were there. Service manager wasn't real excited about the replacement...

We have much to be thankful for this year

This Thanksgiving we are especially thankful for the good news we received on Tuesday...Ed's (Erags) recent CAT scans were all basically NORMAL (of course, they didn't check out his HEAD).:thumbup::yes: There was no sign of his lymphoma. Praise the Lord for answered prayers. We are...

    Happy Turkey Day, everyone!

Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving. If you ride, be safe...I read today is the worst day of the year to travel as far as accidents go. Stay alert, stay alive.

I had a hard time restraining myself...

...from hollering "You just got passed by a GIRL on a SPYDER!" every time I passed someone on the interstate today.:ohyea::yes: Beautiful weather for riding...still no sign of Ed's bike, unfortunately. I set a new record on the Spyder today (81, but don't tell Ed!) He was behind me in...

Holy cow! Did you see that...

...they fit 28 "flexible ladies" into a MINI Cooper to break last year's record of 27 in the Guinness Book of Records? :firstplace: I have a hard enough time getting Ed and two of our grandkids in our MINI!:roflblack:

We had previously been told that if parts are taken off another bike in the showroom then they are not covered under the warranty...:dontknow: if that's true or not. Dealer is closed Sun-Mon, so we won't be hearing anything before Tuesday at the earliest. I'd have to say the blame for the...
