• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

BRP Model Number for Replacement Oil Filters?

I contacted him already by email, but have not heard back (maybe because he is at the Spyder event). I wanted the OEM part #'s to cross reference by my Amsoil rep, they are researching to see if they have any equivalent filters they can offer.

BRP Model Number for Replacement Oil Filters?

I need the model/part numbers for the OEM Oil Filter and Transmission Oil Filter for 2011 SPYDER RT-S SE5. I have combed the Owner's Manual & Maintenance Manual and it is nowhere to be found. I have to know or I will not be able to get to sleep tonight or ever again ! :gaah: I searched the...

    Picked up my spare relay

I need to stop reading threads for entertainment, I now fear relay problems & think I need some spare relays (just in case), Anyone know what relays the 2011 RT-S SE5 needs? I'll get some just to have, but maybe the engineers switched to better ones in 2010-2011?:roflblack:

Spoke with Tim at Gold Plugs, and had some extra washers added to my order since they are cheap. He upgraded the shipping for a buck to ensure I get them by Friday for my 600 miles service appt on Saturday. I like these guys more and more...:2thumbs...

Do all SPYDERS squeal when you give them gas?

I guess its sounds like rotational chirping that is proportional to the amount of throttle I give it. It's loud, annoying, and makes the thing sound like it's struggling instead like a motorcycle engine that could. I'll take it in again, but I don't understand why it wasn't caught by the...

Do all SPYDERS squeal when you give them gas?

My Spyder always squeals when I am accelerating. Only at minimal throttle does the sound die down to less irritating noise like in 5th at cruising speeds. It's so loud that my friends who were following me with their windows up heard it and asked me why the thing squeaky squeals all the time so...

    Bajaron's oil catch can

I don't forget this fact, I simply don't care when they charge $27K for these things. :roflblack: My Honda costs less and is more complicated than a Spyder. That fourth wheel adds a lots of confusion to the engineering process! /end sarcasm

    Bajaron's oil catch can

I'm a noob with a 2011 RT-S SE5. Is this something I need to address? I have to ask, why doesn't CAN-AM address it instead of forcing customers to toil with it? Or is this a fix for a mod that causes a problem? I also was curious what happens if oil gets in the air-box? Why does oil get in...

Real Kewel Pet Carrier for the RT

That is the nicest pet carrier I've seen. I want one for my 2011 RT-S! When you suddenly stop is there anything to keep your doggy from banging into the metal? My Japanese Chin is a real runt at 3.6lbs and I would be concern that she may be tossed around like popcorn with the way I drive. I have...

    72 Hours with my Spyder RT-S SE5

Sorry I haven't posted lately, but I have been enjoying my Spyder and hit 300 miles today. I take it in next week to get it checked out and have the front nose piece replaced (from damage from loading/unloading it from the trailer). The dealership had my extended B.E.S.T. Warranty extended out...

1080P HD Video of Logitech HD Camera Mounted to my Spyder! Today I temporarily mounted a Logitech HD computer camera to my Spyder's dash and ran the usb cable to the back storage. I connected to my Lenovo Tablet and recorded a 7 minute 1080P HD video of my drive and edited it and set it to...

    72 Hours with my Spyder RT-S SE5

I love that one! I want that meter! I thought if the battery was below 12.6Vdc than it was problem, but looking at his voltage of 11Vdc at 30F it would appear normal for the battery voltage to fluctuate quite a bit.

    72 Hours with my Spyder RT-S SE5

Checked the battery again and I'm at 12.58Vdc! :yikes: I haven't done anything and all I did was walk away for an hour. I am going to ride tomorrow and see if it comes back up after a 25mile trip on the highway.
