• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2 more thumbs up for No Magic Neon

I agree. Ordered a HID kit on Wednesday and got it today. Thanks MM.

    Calsci windsheild review

LOL. He doesn't even have his permit yet. I think I'm going to have to drag him to the RMV and then sign him up for driving lessons to get things moving. On the plus side, by the time he gets his license, the SE5 might be readily available. Unfortunately, he doesn't like the yellow or red...

    Calsci windsheild review

That's great news. I've been using the BRP touring shield but I was hoping to get something to cut down the turbulence just a bit more. I'll probably be giving you another call again fairly soon. Stop making/obtaining such great products for the Spyder so my husband won't kill me. My hobbies...

    Beka's Spyder

Very odd. The photos worked yesterday. I just edited the posts and fixed it. ataDude: I'm confused. I thought we were talking about the Scorpio alarm.

    Beka's Spyder

Thanks ataDude. I wanted to put it there, but I couldn't get the cable to reach. My guess is that you mounted the main unit in a different spot? I'll be taking most of the plastic off again when I wrap the exhaust anyway, so I may just redo things then.

    Beka's Spyder

And my latest mod should really be standard equipment in my opinion. Too bad about little things like rules and such. Looks amazing and sounds great too. I have a Throttle Rocker as well which is probably the best mod for the $. Really saves my hand on the longer trips. Next up will be...

    Beka's Spyder

I added a Scorpio i900 alarm just recently since I work in Cambridge, MA and I'm a bit paranoid about leaving the Spyder alone while I work. Here's the underside of the tail. The wire with velcro is the antenna. The main unit is held in place with velcro as well. I'm not too happy with the...

    Beka's Spyder

I've had my Spyder for about a month and I've done a few mods so far. First up, a Garmin Zumo 550 because I have a really terrible sense of direction. I used just the supplied parts that came with the Zumo 550. I had to remove the warning card from the dash and drill 2 holes for the mount...

    Exhaust question

I haven't heard the Micron, but I've heard both the Hindle and the Two Brothers. The Two Brothers is quite a bit louder than the Hindle. The Hindle has a nice growl to it while the Two Brothers truely sounds like a race exhaust (absolutely awesome, but LOUD). It was just a little bit too loud...

How quick did you reach the first 625 service milestone?

I hit 700 miles on Saturday after a little under 3 weeks. Going in for the first service on Friday.

    New saddle bags

I placed an order with Shawn over the phone today. I'd recommend that route.

    My Spyder is home

Dealer contacted me this morning to tell me that the Spyder just arrived. It rained on the way up to the dealer but the sun came out as soon as we arrived. I had a really nice 60 mile ride home. Now that I have a real ride under my belt, I definitely see why some people like the mirror extenders...

OK, I have one problem (humor)

I've been waiting for mine to arrive for almost 3 weeks. I hope I don't have to wait much longer.
