• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Trim rings

:agree: I have the rims and looked at the trim rings, but thought the wheels looked better without the rings.

    4" Riser, I'm still debating.....

I would have to try it before I would modify mine. I don't mind the ride position now and also don't like the way the risers look. Only if they GREATLY improved the ride would I consider it. I would like to try them, though.

    Most annoying thing about Spyder

For me, the brake squeal is the most annoying and embarrassing. The placement of the valve on the rear tire is a pain, but it's a distant second.

    hand brake survey

I missed having a hand brake for about a week. Now, I don't miss it at all. I thought going between my bike and the Spyder would be confusing, but it wasn't. Given the option now, I personally would not want or need a handbrake.

    hand grips

I have the Kuryakyn Iso grips (7/8"). Easy install. I did need to tape the left bar a little (electrical tape) and used a little glue on that side. The right side was simply removing the old grip and sliding the new one on. No glue needed.

I have the same problem with my hands getting a little numb in 15 minutes or so of continuous riding. My other bikes had cruise, so I could just switch it on and shake off the numbness. I have the Kury grips with the Throttle Rocker. Helped only a little. I installed the Vista Cruise and it...

First cold weather ride...Need winter gloves, or glove warmers...

I ride to the office at 5:30 and am often working into the evening, so I do quite a bit of night time riding. I enjoy being out on the Spyder after dark. I use deerskin insulated gloves I bought at one of the Harley shops. They are very soft and flexible but keep my hands very warm. I would...

These are true words of wisdom... as difficult as it may be to understand, the fact is some take defending these "colors" very seriously.

Harley Davidson Spyder look a like "NOT"

I wonder where Harley would price a reverse trike in the marketplace. I would think that a reverse trike is not nearly as expensive to build as the traditional trike, which starts as a motorcycle and the "trike" is all an addition. I bet they would price it around the price of an Ultra and...
