• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    15 F3 gas Gauge not reading

    All, the gas gauge is not reading reading at all. When we picked it up in November, I noticed that sometime it would read, sometime it wouldn't. Fuses look good...where should I check next?

    998cc Fuel drips on left side. Why?

    Resolved. PO had used duct tape to cover up a hole in the top of the gas tank...small puncture. It looked like it had been there for a long time.

    Right wrist pain

    OK, I have the foam grips and they do help a lot. Rode almost 100 miles today and only had mild discomfort. Next question, anyone know if there are any bar risers that will fit on the 09 GS yet are reasonably priced?

    The odd thing is, I checked the gap after I torqued the nuts and it was good. How and why is it moving so quickly after?

    OK, the squeal is back and progressing. In addition, the belt moves back to the right lip not too long after every adjustment. I've torqued the wheel nuts to specs both times. There is very little red dust on the front pulley. What else can I do?

    Air Intake box question--oil

    I did put oil in, after warming it up and seeing that the oil was at the add oil part of the dipstick. I did not put a large amount in. Checked multiple times during process. Did not take to max line.

    Right wrist pain

    This is my 4th bike, first Spyder (09 GS). I've never experienced as much pain from carpal tunnel like symptoms in my throttle hand as I do on this bike. Is right side vibration normal or is it just me? I ordered a set of foam grips from Lamonster, hopefully that helps. Thoughts, opinions?

    Not too many, the squeal didn't start until after I changed the rear brake caliper. So probably 70 or so total. It was weird though. It would only do it, or at least that I could hear, in first gear between 18-21 MPH.
