• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    OYSTER RUN 2012!!!

What an incredible turnout of Spyder owners! Thanks to everyone for making this annual venue just a little more special, especially to those of you who drove such a great distance to attend. Here are my photos. I regret I didn't capture a group photo of us to include in this photo album for...

3-wheel motorcycle endorsement driving me nuts!

Hi Mike, Your coverage limits are different than what I opted to have thus your premium is much lower. If I had chose the bare minimum coverage, my annual premium would've been sub $300 (sub $200 I lived in Sequim according to my State Farm rep - nearly a $100 difference from living in...

3-wheel motorcycle endorsement driving me nuts!

Congratulations on your new acquisition Mike! I have a 2008 GS SM5 insured through State Farm here in western WA. When I was shopping for insurance quotes in 2008, I've seen a large variance in annual premiums just between the companies; some nearly double what I pay. I've inquired as to...

PACIFIC NORTHWEST SPYDER MEET 'N' EAT - 04/15/12

Video Would like to let everyone know I haven't forgotten about our video. I'm discovering – as a novice – that raw video editing can be a very cumbersome  and daunting process; the challenge is to select the best segments of video to be showcased under 3-5 viewable minutes with the...

Spyder flying low and fast at WA race track

This past March one of our exotic car club members captured this raw video footage of me ryding the Spyder at the brand new Shelton race track [located in Washington state] with the Ferrari, Porsche and Lotus car clubs - it was a wonderful experience to try this on the Spyder instead of the...

PACIFIC NORTHWEST SPYDER MEET 'N' EAT - 04/15/12

Need to sort through the 350+ photos I've taken today to weed and toss the bad shots; based from a quick preview, I'll just confirm there are a LOT of those! The two raw videos captured between myself and Joe will take time to edit and pare down to under 10 minutes, highlighting the most...

Auburn Regional Hospital Teddy Bear Run, Sunday February 12th

I won't be able to participate either. I'll be competing at a karting enduro fundraiser with the Alfa Romeo club for a young woman (Kathryn "Panda" Bradley) who very recently just lost her battle with brain cancer. The club's original intent was to raise donations to help Kathryn seek...

Thanks, Joe, for a great Oyster Run!

Thanks Joe! Not sure how to "bump the link" to the General Discussion area. You're welcome to post on my behalf if that's easier. I thought about sharing this with GoPro as well... just haven't gotten around to it just yet.

Thanks, Joe, for a great Oyster Run!

My apologies. The video for some reason failed to load - "technical difficulties". Will repost to let everyone know it's up once I've figured out why it isn't working. UPDATE (5:28PM): Video has finished processing, however it cannot be viewed in HD until sometime tomorrow, for whatever reason.

Thanks, Joe, for a great Oyster Run!

Hello everyone, I've finally finish editing the GoPro video of our pilgrimage to Anacortes from LaConner and hope you will enjoy this keepsake. The video runtime is 13:38. I thought about speeding up the video to shorten the runtime length, but opted against that for those who wanted to pause...

    OYSTER RUN

Hoping to make it again this year ryding my own Spyder and possibly snagging others to join our group. However, should the weather Gods decide to make it another rainfest, I hope I'll be able to ride as pillion again with Wukka (aka Joe) "if" he has an open seat available which I thoroughly...

How many Spyders do we have in Washington?

Federal Way blue RT or RT-S owner? Is there someone here on our forum who lives in the Federal Way area with a blue RT or RT-S? I spotted you around 4pm heading west on S. 320th just passing the Federal Way Library. I noticed red LED lights wrapped around the front fenders if that helps...
