• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What's the one thing you think is Useless Junk on your Spyder?

I gotta agree with that! I have to go past 3 dealerships to get to one 3 hours away from me that actually has a competent mechanic. 3 things that could be much better 1. Turn signal - You gotta be precise pushing the button in to cancel the signal. 2. Stereo - I doubt 20% of...

What's the best Can Am Spyder lift?

Pit Bull is #1 in my book. Compare a Pit Bull to a Sears, HF or the like and you’ll see why. Much larger and more substantial.

Got her done - installed BajaRon bar plus foam grips & risers

I’ve used a Pit Bull lift since my Goldwing days. It has the stability and clearance to add the sway bars. I did that with my 2016 RTL and will use it on my F3L to install.

    Yikes!!!! F3L frunk won’t open!

Finally!!!!!! I was able to lift the lid just a bit to spray some lubricant on the release and got it to release. Putting on the secondary release with bicycle brake strand wire to avoid this situation in the future!!!!

    Yikes!!!! F3L frunk won’t open!

Tried that as well. I’ve taken my RTL completely apart w/o issues but this is a vexing problem on the F3L.

    I’ve tried that without success

    Yikes!!!! F3L frunk won’t open!

Recently bought a 2019 F3L and tried to adjust the frunk to open easier. Now, it won’t open at all!!! I can feel the key release the latch but under no circumstances can I get the frunk lid to open. I seen some posts about a stuck frunk on a RT but nothing about the F3. Searched here, U Tube...

I downloaded that on my iPad previously but have no Table of Contents to search the manual

    Made the switch to F3L

I finally got my 2019 F3L picked up from Louisiana and brought back home to Central Texas. And yes, I am loving it!!! I have owned a 2016 RTL for almost 3 years and did most of my own wrenching. Pretty familiar with taking all the Tupperware off after viewing some good videos. BTW- it’s still...

F3L Advice sought - will I miss my RTL?

What about the decreased wind and rain protection of the F3L vs the RTL around the foot area?

F3L Advice sought - will I miss my RTL?

The F3 I’m looking at has saddlebags, trunk and cruise so looks like an F3L. The warranty that comes with the bike says F3 S Se6.

F3L Advice sought - will I miss my RTL?

ARtraveler, Any noticeable difference the 2019 and 2020 F3L? What foo foo items would I give up besides the adjustable windshield? I think the storage on a F3L is comparable or better than my 2016 RTL?

F3L Advice sought - will I miss my RTL?

The 2019 F3L does come with a warranty. Black lightning - you sound like our riding styles are similar. The problem is there are no F3Ls to test ride close to me.

Will older Pit Bull lifts work on 2020 RT Limited?

My PB is 10+ years old and work very well with my 2016 RTL as well as my buddy’s 21 Sea and Sky. Yes, it does lean a little left as you’re raising the bike but straightens out as you go higher. It doesn’t lean nearly enough for the bike to slide off but the first couple of times you lift it...

F3L Advice sought - will I miss my RTL?

Any “in the seat” impressions from anyone from going to F3L after having owned an RTL or vice versa? I understand the lower profile and COG on the F3L but how does the F3L compare to the RTL on highways?

F3L Advice sought - will I miss my RTL?

I have a bead on a 2019 F3L with less than 2,500 miles for less than $22K. Anything I’ve seen at dealerships are $3-4K more. My 2016 RTL is immaculate with 35.5K miles on her.

F3L Advice sought - will I miss my RTL?

I own a 2016 RTL that I have thoroughly enjoyed riding. I ride pretty “spirited” thru the twisties but I keep hearing a F3L is even more sporty than the RTL. I don’t know anyone that has an F3L and the dealerships around here have no inventory to even test ride an F3L. I’ve read of many RTL...

Dilemma - looking for comfort improvements??

I currently have a 2016 Spyder RTL improved with Bajaron’s sway bar and shock adjusts. I ride pretty spirited and just completed a 4,600 mile trip through the Smokies. Fantastic riding there! I’m looking for some improvements for comfort and more “in the seat” feel. I’ve been looking at...
